Far from it. Indie kids embrace an extremely limited range of cultural knowledge and expect to be seen as awesome for it. I like to think that I am more open minded than that. Not to mention, I hate people who appropriate indigenous symbols. Wearing head-dresses and feathers (after your distant ancestors wiped them out) is not fashionable or cool.
