Yes... except for the pieces that are supposed to be hung up anyway.

I'm on a Mac, I've owned PCs previously, and ... never worked in true linux, I don't think.. maybe in college. Definitely unix variants and sunos variants. I work mostly on PCs at my current office, and have used Macs and Apples since I was a little kid. I'm THAT generation. In general, I think now is a better time to be using computers though, because the differences are minimal and definitely more appearance based for the end users. While there's a subset of the population that cares desperately about what language their machine is speaking on the inside, most folks just want to be able to write/run spreadsheets/get on the internet.

I am very introverted, but have been around extroverts (or people good at pretending they are extroverts) for most of my life, and in a social setting, can mimic an extrovert fairly well.

I would say that I'm more of a friendly lady in a cottage with one or two cats, a garden, who goes to market once a week... as opposed to a crazy cat lady in a rundown Addams Family house, with a cat for every bedroom, who has food delivered and a huge library full of dusty tomes. I semi-wish that I could afford to be the latter though... it sounds more interesting on most days.

      Which morning?

On work days, I get up too early, feed the cat (who may or may not have been meahing at me for food since before my alarm), shower, get dressed, fix someone else's lunch... and mine if I'm not too nauseated by the idea (don't particularly like the idea of food until I've been awake a couple hours), go kiss said someone goodbye and tell him the time so he knows how much longer he can sleep before HE has to get up for work, then go to work.

On non-work days it depends more on what someone else is doing. If I have a choice in the matter, I sleep until I wake up. That varies from about 10am until Noon, depending on how late it was before I fell asleep the night before.

Basically, my body likes around 2 to 3 blocks of 3 hours of sleep at a time. I don't get that on work nights. Not anywhere near. Sometimes I get about one and a half. It doesn't matter that I go to bed in time, I just can't fall asleep.

Hasn't happened yet. ;) I don't remember last year's, particularly, so we probably did what we usually do.... nothing too much.

Batman. Although if you had asked when I was 10, I'd've said Spiderman. Superman was never my thing, although I was under the impression mom had a crush on him. ;)

Depends on if it's an old-fashioned album that tells a story by listening to the whole thing... (yes) or I just like the majority of the songs (happens more rarely). Probably in practice, I listen to random songs the most.

    10. Katrina

Mostly the morning, although sometimes in the evening if my muscles ache, or I've been outdoors in the pollen all day.

    11. Katrina

Not usually. If it's a really fancy cake with flakes of chocolate on the frosting, I might pick a few off and nibble them, but I'm not actually crazy about most frosting. So I tend to try to make sure there is a good forkful of cake to go with it.

ICING on the other hand, the stuff you drizzle over pound cakes and bundt cakes? Mmmmmm. It soaks in and leaves a thin sugary crunchy crust on the outside and makes for yummy moist cake on the inside.

    12. Katrina

I have a hard time getting to sleep in the first place...

It depends on what woke me up. If it was a nightmare, and not too bad, I'll snuggle into my boyfriend and try to go back to sleep. If it was a horrible one I'll get up and get a drink of water, and wake up enough to feel present, then try to go back to sleep.

If I don't have to be at work the next day, I'll get up and read, usually in another room so as not to disturb said boyfriend.

    13. Katrina

      Neil Gaiman.

For some others, off the top of my head: Terry Pratchett. Seanan Maguire. Patricia Briggs. David Eddings (and his wife, whose name I think is Leigh, but otherwise escapes me, shamefully). Langston Hughes is lovely for poetry.

    14. Katrina

I tend to refer to sneakers as tennis shoes.

I own more shoes now than ever before in my life, but if the weather is right... I'd rather be barefoot.

    15. Katrina

So far, no. But technically, I've mostly been in large harbors.

      Bahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah-deep breath-hahahahahahahaha!

      No.

    18. Katrina

.... No. It is easier for me to find words, but it's still hard to open up and tell people what I feel.

    19. Katrina

From scratch (ie: naked mattress) or daily?

From scratch I tend to go bottom top top bottom, flat sheet centered, blanket centered, tuck in the bottom then hospital corner, then pillow cases.

Daily, if I'm the last one up (which happens anywhere from 2 to 4 days a week, depending) I yank up the sheet and blanket, lay the pillows on top, then turn down the "cat" blanket so that he can worm his way in when he wants during the day. Yes, my cat sleeps "in" the bed if he can.
