i think that if you love your dog you shouldn't have given her away, because she will have a hard time without the people she is used to.you always can find time for her no matter what. dogs are humans best friends, remember that!
First off, I love my dog and having people write in telling me i don't is horrible. I live over an hour away from my parents, where she lives, so driving down everyday to play with her until my parents get home from work just isn't possible given I have a full time job too, which a lot of is spending time helping you guys online. Not only do I not have a say in it, but I would much rather she go somewhere local to a family who have kids who can play with her instead of her staying in a room all day howling. She deserves better than that and for someone to write in, not just you but another anonymous user, telling me that I do not love her when I am already hurting so badly having to say goodbye is absolutely horrible and for people who love animals so much you'd think you'd have a little more empathy for fellow human beings. Talk about kicking someone while theyre down. Sorry for being so blunt and I wasn't going to say anything, but reading that made me really upset and not only is it unnecessary but when you wrote that you knew it would be hurtful. I love my Maisie and I'd take her if I could, but more than that I want her to have a happy life - not one feeling lonely. We took her from an old lady when she was 4 and she adjusted brilliantly. Again sorry for being blunt and I hope this hasn't crossed the line but I love my dog and won't take people telling me i don't.
