I'm not sure... I just got mine and didn't have the first gen, so i don't know the big differences.

YES! Love them!!! :)

good question.... I love being "me", but it would be fun to be in someone else's shoes too.. maybe audrey hepburn or marilyn monroe :)
-
good question.. probably design pretty things :) I still do that now, but it would take up more time if I didn't have photography to distract me :)

in the wedding!! I tell all of my close friends and family that I won't shoot their wedding because I want to BE there on the day to celebrate with them, not to work. I'll usually offer an engagement session, and of course I will probably bring my camera with me, but my main priority that day is to be celebrating, not working :)
I like to recommend my fave photogs though :) -
Formspring question of the day

Anywhere outdoors, with good light, and lots of character. There are so many places!!!

I haven't found a LR solution yet, I do all of my retouching in PS still. But generally I just remove blemishes with the patch tool. You can also duplicate the layer, add a guassian blur, and then layer mask in the skin, but don't get crazy!

I used to over-Photoshop skin a lot. These days, unless the skin is really bad, I generally just use the patch tool to remove blemishes. I've also done the add layer, Gaussian blur and then layer mask.

good question! The 50mm changed my life more I guess you could say, but the 5Dmk2 elevated my photography to the next level. For me, getting the new camera was more about having more flexibility in low light, and having the quality equiptment to really produce the images I wanted, the way I wanted them produced!

YES!!! Switching to RAW was one of the best things I ever did! I love love love it and recommend it to everyone. You have SO much more flexibility when PP esp when it comes to recovering blown out spots, and fixing grain. Totally shoot in RAW <3

misty rain... like when it's not really raining, and it's not really dry.. but that REALLY annoying mosty thing it does drives me mad!

Just Facebook :) IT definitely helps to spread the work about my work to more people than I could reach on my own without spending all of the $$$. I'm considering possibly doing a bit more marketing this coming year, but we'll see :)
-
ummmmm... i haven't? Although, i do HATE when you are on vacation somewhere, and those street people with the birds try to put all of the birds on you and take your photo and then sell it to you.... oh, you haven't heard of them?..... my bad.

I have bought everything from newegg.com or B&H Photo :) B&H has the best prices hands down, so if you're price checking anyone, check there. I did purchase one used lens from a private photography forum I am a part of, but otherwise pretty much quality = $$$.
Don't let that deter you though, you can take a good photo with just about any camera! This may encourage you :)

Hey! Same here! I find it a challenge as well, so I make sure my clients know up front that I shoot natural light, and that we will need window light if we are shooting indoors. I always try to shoot outside, but if it's pouring, and there isn't much light available I will generally reschedule. My new camera has helped me be able to shoot in lower light though, because I can up the ISO with minimal grain, so better equipment can give you more flexibility too :)
