I like skirts a lot. I've always had the desire to make a whole wardrobe of just skirts. I should really do that.

Um, I don't know. Probably not. I'd label it more "indie" or "folk rock." But who likes labels? No one. It's all just good music!

"Dead in the Family" by Charlaine Harris. It's the newest in the Sookie Stackhouse series. It was pretty good. It's odd reading the books now, and also watching the True Blood series, because so much more has happened in the books and I keep wondering if they'll be able to keep the series alive long enough to get to all of the good stuff!

Because I'm enjoying face time with my family, friends and loved ones, where communication is real. I'm to the point where this whole Formspringy/Bloggy/Facebooky/Internetty/Twittery scene is getting kinda old. There's an ebb and flow to my interest level and my desire to 'keep in touch' and comment and 'like' and be inquisitive to others and stay on top of what's going on and etc. etc. but right now? I'm in the ebb stage. I kinda just don't give a hoot.

However, if inspiration strikes, I'll post something on the 'ol blog. I'm not giving it up for good. For now though, I'll be lurking in the background, in the company of most of you lurkers reading this right now.

Our weekend was great! :) We went to see Toy Story 3 on Saturday - it was soooo cute! (But geez, seriously expensive - we spent almost $50 just on four tickets, popcorn and drinks!) On Sunday we had a little cookout with my parents and my brother. I made a really good potato salad and we had steaks on the grill and pie. Yummy! The girls played in their blow-up pool because it's HOT here - super hot!

Nope, I'm stuck on what to name him ... I want a suitable gnome name, but just can't think of one. Also, I will probably want to name the three gnomes that I am embroidering, so that's FOUR gnome names to come up with. Ugggg - pressure!

On my nightstand - my alarm clock and my Blackberry. I can never wake up in the morning, so I have to set both my alarm clock alarm and my Blackberry alarm. I snooze both about twenty million times too.

In the nightstand - the TV remote, my book light, a bunch of book marks, a pile of store tags from clothes (evidentally it's easier for me to rip the tags off and throw them in my drawer rather than in the trash), some Trojans (aww yeah baby!), some Tums, a couple pads of paper, and various little kid toys. Polly Pocket has been in there for about two weeks now and whenever I take her out she ends up right back in there. A mini My Little Pony with pink hair has been in there for about a year too.

I was on vacation when you asked this, I do believe. Took a little mini-vacation to Brookville, Indiana with the camper. It was too mini. We were there five days but it felt like two; it went by too fast. I didn't want it to end. It stormed each and every day we were there, but we had fun in between the rain drops. That sounds corny, but it's the truth. We had one beach day and I got a tan.

I wish we could camp all summer. I considered, about 20 different times during our mini-vacay to be exact, going back to school to get a teaching degree so that Mike and I would both be off in the summer and we could just be on the open road all summer long. Oh, how I yearn for that!

I love donuts with chocolate frosting and sprinkles. Be it a long john, a cake donut or a yeast donut. Sprinkles I LOVE!

I didn't mean for my last answer to sound like it was "all easy" because it has not been "all easy." My kids are five years old, so I probably forgot about some of the struggles I might have had when they were smaller. Because parenthood just keeps getting better, at least it did for me, and the good far outweighs the bad. If I sounded pompous in my last answer, I didn't mean to. But, I answered honestly. I wanted to be a mom more than anything in the world so it came easily to me. It truly did.

Here's the deal, you deal with what you're dealt. I had twins, so I dealt with twins the best way I knew how, and that was with hard work and determination. If I were to have had a single baby before twins, then I'm sure having twins would have been really difficult. But I didn't know any different with my twins.

I couldn't leave the house alone with them until they were about nine months old, because I couldn't carry both of them at once. That was hard. But it wasn't catastrophic - we just did a lot of things as a family. Having two hungry babies cry at the same time was hard, but when I was going it alone, there was only one of me, so someone had to wait and be patient. The first time it happened I was devestated, but I had to just realize my limits and do what I could. When they both are cranky and acting fussy, that's really annoying but I just try to make them happy. Having to pay double for everything at times is difficult.

Have we done a perfect job? NO! No one is perfect. Sure we've messed up and done things wrong. Everyone has. My kids aren't perfect in the least, but I do know that they are good kids, and that makes me happy.

I'm five years into it now, but it was incredibly easy for me to adjust to being a mommy. Piece of cake. I wanted to be a mommy more than anything else in the world! I absolutely loved it when the girls were babies - it was a bit challenging because I had two bitty babies but it was a challenge I loved. They've been nothing but fun and in fact things just keep gettin' funner! Sure there's been lots of moments where I've been overwhelmed and needed a mommy time out, but for the most part, it's been a blast.

I know I'm ("we're" - my husband plays a big part in this!) doing a good job because of this: my kids are well behaved in public and we constantly get complimented on them. And the compliments come from people that don't know us. My kids are polite, loveable, curious and also nice. I always knew that I wanted to work hard to make sure my kids were kind. Because we've all been around that annoying type of kid - the type of kid that punches your shins and screams and yells.

We also have a life, my husband and I. Our children come first, but we also have fostered hobbies and passions since they've been around. We raised the girls with a strict schedule and a keen eye on behavior.

Sometimes I wonder if we're too strict with the girls, because we really ARE strict, but I also know that they're good because we ARE strict. If that makes sense. We're a happy family because we, as parents, created a happy balance for everyone. That balance started from early, early on and we've never wavered. We've always been able to do the things we want to do and our kids go with the flow, because they know their parents provide structure and guideance.

Wow, longest Formspring answer EVER! I'm chatty today.

Oh geez. Birds are evil. I like drawings of birds and graphic elements with birds on them, but actual live birds, eww, not for me.

We had a bird problem last summer. They had a nest in our tree in our backyard and wouldn't let us outside at all. They'd dive-bomb us. We seriously considering shooting and killing the baby birds! Instead we just endured it and then as soon as they left the nest we knocked the nest down and threw it away! They haven't came back this year, thank goodness!

I have a very poor memory - both short term and long term. There are snippets of things I remember from when I was young though. Just today I remembered that my dad had this little red scooter and he would take me on rides down our street. We probably weren't going very fast at all but I remember it being absolutely thrilling. I also remember that we had neighbors in that neighborhood that we called the Poop Lickers. Their last name sort of sounded like Poop Lickers (it was Poplick or something like that) and they were evil and mean, so they got that nickname.
