I don't really focus on just lyrics when it comes to music. I wouldn't be able to answer this.

I'm not sure if I can really quantify my knowledge well enough to provide a real answer. Pretty much everything I know I learnt by making my own (undistributed) games, forgetting 75%, starting over with more game projects, lather rinse repeat. What I know right now is probably less than I did a year or two ago, which would have been more than I knew before college...
I know a little bit about game design itself, about interaction design (well, how to map game actions to player inputs), maybe a bit about engine design... At this point in time I probably know more about making tabletop games than computer/video games since it's easier to prototype with physical objects. Oh, there's something else I know: the importance of prototyping and early playtesting.
It'd be very useful for me to go through a formal game development program, to help me identify areas for improvement as well as hone my skills and knowledge to the point of being able to be successful with them. After all, I want to make games for other people, not just myself! -
I panic, freeze up, and start ignoring things in the hope they'll go away. And that is why my life sucks.
