      I think it's rad that you're a Christian but don't seem to be really "in your face"about it. It's good to know that there are some Christians who know how to live for God without avidly trying to convert everyone they know or judging others willy-nilly.

      Is it bad if I immediately thought of Balloonshop's video "Poptart" when I saw willy-nilly?

      haha. But for serious, I've been in the belief that the biggest part of a Christian's testimony is in the way they live and act, so forcing dogma down another's throat, no matter how important you believe it to be, is not the way to go about it. The apostle Paul agrees with me. There are contemporary ways for contemporary times. Paul even used quotes from the contemporary philosophers of his day to reach people.

      It's not our job to change people's minds, it's God's job to change their hearts. We are simply to spread the message. :)

      you don't get on here anymore but i forgot that i've been meaning to tell you that the word opposed is not spelled like apposed when you're using it to mean contradictory to. appose means something completely different. that is all.

      Thank you. I was offended at first that you would take the time out to correct me, but how will I ever learn if I just shrug off every correction.

      Words are my friends. I should get to know them better.

      Why do people care so much if you and Shawna are dating or not? It's not really their business, is it?

      No it is not their business. But they can certainly ask if it's that important to them. It doesn't mean either one of us will answer.

      how do you feel about singleness? as in long term, intentional singleness?

      Well, in Jake's case it's not so much intentional as it is "WHY!? WHY, GOD, WHY?!?!"

      But I'm all right with it. I'm trying to teach Jake how to accept it in a more healthy manner.
