There are two kinds of corn syrup: light and dark. They will be clearly labeled. Use the light one.

They are not hard but not super soft either. Similar to turkish delight though.

No. I wrote it. I created the recipes. I published it. It is out of print. It is unavailable.

That has been out of print for several years, sorry!

I have two red velvet cupcake recipes on my blog. I am not sure which one you are talking about. I like both a lot, I do not post recipes that I create but don't enjoy.

Glad you liked them! The mixture barely fit in my 11 cup processor. It probably depends on the brand. Great solution though!

I wouldn't describe it as either exactly. Granita is grainy in a way that snow cones are not. A bit finer. If you would want a smooth dessert, sorbet would be a better bet.

It would be lovely without the chile.

Most grocery stores. Look in the spice aisle, condiment section and jams & jellies.

I have never used or heard of that product. I suggest reading the label.

I am not sure which pictures on which posts you are referring to. Some very early recipes (ones from about 6 years ago) do not have pictures because I didn't take them to begin with. I wasn't writing for an audience like I am now and occasionally would post a recipe without including a photograph.
If there are pictures missing from more recent posts, I am unaware of this. There should be at least one picture on every post from the last five or so years. Feel free to send me a link to the recipes in question and I will be happy to look into it. I haven't come across this problem myself. -
That is something you need to discuss with a dietitian or doctor.

Thank you! I use the old style of template rather than using widgets and boxes. I directly edit the html.

I kind of fell into it. I started the blog as a way to share recipes with my friends and it just grew. I loved cooking and even more, sharing recipes and the writing followed. I am so happy I can make a living of what I love. It is a LOT of work but it is the best job I've ever had.

I really love our dogs and our two person family so adding another member is not in the forecast. Being child-free has a lot of freedom that I am not ready to give up any time soon.

Moderation! I try to make baked goods and foods with lots of servings when I know I will see friends/family so I can send them home with stuff. I freeze some foods too and give it away or have it for lunches which helps.
Also, home cooking is (generally) better for you than eating at restaurants or getting take out so having a home cooking blog is better for me than having a blog where I have to go out to eat to review restaurants all the time. :)
