Hmm... that being in a relationship is not necessarily the end all be all that people try to make you believe it is. Especially if its not fulfilling you. Ultimately I learned that I actually find a lot of peace and focus in being alone. Also, I feel like, in order for me to get my health together, being single is probably the best state for me.

Wow... how did I miss this? If you mean that you are moving back in with your parents, the main piece of advice I could give you is to practice patience with them. Try to be as helpful to them as possible. Remember you are just as much of an intrusion to them as they might be a distraction to you, no matter what they might say. Use this time at home to establish an adult friendship with them. Since I've been home, I've learned so much about my father that I did not know and would have never even guessed. It has been a revelation, the things about his childhood and young adulthood that he has shared with me, now that he views me as an adult. I think he might be one of the most impressive people I know.
As far as other matters, yes you may be an adult, but respect the rules of the house, whatever they may be. Especially if you pay no rent. That means no overnight guests unless they are cool with that. Even then, no loud sex sessions (I hope that goes without saying lol). Better yet keep your sex life outside the house if at all possible.
And lastly let me just reiterate, if you aren't paying them any rent, try to be as helpful as possible, with the best attitude as possible. They don't HAVE to let you stay there. Wash the dishes, clean the bathroom, cook a meal, etc without having to be asked sometimes. I'm not saying you have to become the maid. But at least make an effort to show your parents you are grateful for not being out on the street. Believe me they notice these things. And they notice when you ain't doing shit around the house either lol. The end. -
Hmm... do you mean in Savannah? I don't have just one. I like Fiddler's Seafood, Teeple's, Bubba's Oyster Bar, The Shrimp Factory, Ma Randy's Soulfood... Chain restaurant wise, I like Carraba's and the Cheesecake Factory lol. But there's a lot of local places I have not been to since I've been home. OMG why did you ask me this question when I'm trying lose weight? lol

I'm always struck by Savannah's natural beauty and tranquility of the scenery. I can appreciate the sense of familiarity and friendliness among the people. Also, in Savannah, even the thugs have manners.
