I use Photoshop Elemenst 6 c: All my nuzlocke comics are 1100 pixels wide, but the length varies for each strip. I like to start with about 7000 for length, and go from there! You can always add or take away length if you need to.

Over-leveling is always the way I do it! XD In truth I rarely EV train, even in my normal games. both methods are kind of long and arduous, but over-leveling is much simpler I think.

IF I HAD IT MY WAY AND I WAS THE QUEEN OF THE WORLD I WOULD MOTION BLUR THE EVER LIVING DAYLIGHTS OUT OF EVERY PANEL
No, but in all seriousness, I (attempt to) use it in good taste :V -
Hi there! This might be a long explanation:
Okay, so doing a LONG strip-like traditional comic is a little bit difficult, but you'll get the hang of it! My End Run comic was actually a mix of traditional and digital: I used photoshop to edit it.
IRL, the pages look like that of a comic book: I have about 20 8.5x11 pieces of watercolor paper, with an average of about 3 rows with 2 panels per row on each paper.
After I finish all my pages, I scan them in. Then I open them on 'Preview' (or whatever picture-viewing program that you might have) and I change all of their widths to one uniform size.
Then I open the first 'page' on Photoshop and extend the canvas length (this is just an estimate. You can always add or take away length later). Piece by piece, I take every page and line them up in order (this is the part that's kind of tedious, but it's important!)
After that's done, it's time to start making things look 'seamless'. For the majority of if, I use the same panel dividing technique that I do for my digital stuff: I just get the line tool and start dividing things up.
However, there are some special panels that may need to merge into another page. For this, I just use the eraser tool or a white brush tool to even out that space. If it's black space, I use a few of the textured brushes to mimic the look.
After that I just add dialogue, turn it into a .png, and I'm done!
Sorry that was so long! It's kind of a lengthy process, but after a while it just becomes second nature c: -
No.
The power of my senioritis is phenomenal ):<<<<<<<< -
Hahaha, possibly! ^^; It's not that I'm afraid to spoil things... It's just that I'm super embarrassed to do it! I draw really strangely XD
-
Oh yes! I use a small, older version of the Wacom Bamboo fun :>
-
Yes! They are all titles of songs by Regina Spektor :>
-
Not at all, actually! If you'd like to categorize it, I'm a phlegmatic-melancholy, and I think Alexial is a downright choleric.
I don't think I'd even want to be like her, really! ... Well, I'd like to be able to suplex people on a whim, but that's not really a QUALITY as much as it is a SKILL :V -
Chuck's gijinka is androgynous :>
-
From the beginning, Alejandro was totally and entirely meant to be a spoof of the song.
-
OH MY GOD YES. SUCH. A. HAM.
-
She may continue and she may not! While I know what she'll do, I'll leave it up to your imagination for now~ ;>
-
ooooh, I have a few little ideas here and there! I might be doing a white version run, but that's a long time from now :>
-
To catch them is my real test.
To train them is my cause! -
I actually started my nuzlocke BECAUSE I wanted to make a comic! :>
-
Ohhh, I know what you mean! What always helps is to type out your dialogue first. After that, create a small thumbnail sketch of the comic (you can just do this on a piece of paper). That way, you can map out what you'd like to do!
-
Don't be mean! (nah, just kidding XD)
But yeah, at least until February!
See, this year is my senior year in high school, so the last few months have been completely filled with college applications and making things for my portfolio... I was really too busy to do weekly updates (or ANY updates for that matter :P )
But don't worry, I'm just about done with apps! So I'll be able to get my stuff back together soon :>

cocoaferret / alexial’s Bio
I thought it might be nice to open a formspring~
That aside, I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about me, my nuzlocke, its characters, how I go about making it... And even things totally unrelated and out of the blue!
