I've been trying to coin a term that indicates whorephobia but is more 'grammatically pure'. I considered 'occupationist', but it's not specific enough to reflect the really particular stigma and oppression sex workers face. And, I think, following the rules of these terms, 'prostitutionist' would actually mean prejudiced in FAVOUR of sex workers - bigoted against everyone else. It's a conundrum. I'm sure someone far more etymologically educated than I will figure one out one day.

(note: 'prostitute' is not the PC-term for sex workers these days, but it is the original Latin...)

Of course... but I do it with tact and discretion and using body language to indicate I'm not judging them. If they seem really embarrassed I will try to put them at ease by recounting a similar incident that has happened to me.
