Layer it with some necklaces! If you want your sweater to appear bigger, I guess you can layer it with a flannel and an anorak/any other parka you have.

In the fall, the weather was really hot, so I basically just brought all my summer clothes up and left all my heavy knits/coats back at home. Once the weather changed, I went home for winter break, brought all my summer clothes, left them at home, and brought up all my winter clothes up to school. I just rotated my closet according to the weather.
