it was from topshop :)

anywhere between 200 - 600 if i'm not wrong.

are you referring to the bag in my last blog? :) that's a 227 reissue in matte calfskin. if you're referring to my older posts though for the classic flap, it's a large in lambskin.

but why would i want to revise this information if it's accurate? surely not so that everyone who refuses to believe or "doesn't think" that a beautiful, healthy girl is a UK 6 - 8 will be appeased even at the expense of incorrect information? i can't really fathom this furore about su ann's size.
for one, do you honestly think we'd put HVV's reputation down on the line just so that we'd persuade our size S customers to buy dresses from us only to have them realise it doesn't fit? that'd just backfire like a bad joke in our faces.
for two, can i please bring up to you that su ann glided very happily into the betsey polka dress with a waist measurement of 11.2 inches. (assuming that you don't think she's a uk 6 - 8, i'll take it that you think she's a 10) if a size 10 has a waist of 11.2 inches, does that mean a uk 8 has a waist of 9.5 inches and a uk 6, 8 inches? i mean come on, i'm a uk 6 and if i had to wear a dress with a measurement like that, i'd be writhing on the floor suffocating.
can't you feel happy for the girl? she has the brains, the personality and the looks to boot. i mean look at her, she portrays a brilliant image of a girl who can look both beautiful and healthy while maintaining a uk 6 - 8. how many people can do that? -
i'm not too sure actually, if the temperature is anywhere between - 10 upwards it should be okay but if you're going somewhere that's -20'ish i doubt it'd be able to keep you warm enough unless you buy those super oversized fat, woolly coats.
-
no unfortunately i don't think it'd be suitable! while the material is thick, this piece is essentially quite sleeveless. the stevie wraparound coat would probably be more appropriate.
-
i doubt it :( we had a couple of leftover stocks for the pois asymmetrical mini though in different colors.
-
i'm sorry, which piece did you get? was it a design that was intended to be oversized? the measurements for iris generally fall within the range of 13 - 14 inches when unstretched and 16 when stretched to a maximum which makes it a UK 6 - 8. i'm very sure of this because i'm the one that tries on all the samples and finalizes the design/order and i'm a UK 6.
-
thanks! which pieces did you get? :) so i can take note of the quality/fabric that you like.

i studied in melbourne, trinity college then went on to monash :)

hello :) if BO instocks are included in a flash sale, the item will be available for purchase via the dresses/tops/bottoms/accessories tabs. unfortunately, if they're not showing up here that means they're not applicable for the discount!
-
yep we are! sometimes you might have to refresh an additional time because the old page gets saved in your cache. the new website will include a new BO page that will see customers adding products direct to cart instead of placing an order via email.

absinthe (has great french food in a very vintage/cosy kind of ambience), gunthers (french as well but a little starchier - the food is brilliant especially their signature angel hair pasta) or jade at fullerton (great mod chinese cuisine and very quiet which will be perfect for a romantic dinner away from all the v-day dinner jostling).
-
aww :) i'm so glad you're liking our launches!
