Don't make me choose! I could separate favorite artist by genre! lol. So not to bore you though, I'd say it's a tie between Tori Amos and Tool. I can connect to both of them to such a great extent. They are both two very different musical experiences though. The best way I can describe it is that Tori appeals to my more introspective, "feminine" side, while Tool appeals to me in an adventurous, thoughtful, political, and sometimes angry way. Kind of weird, but that's the way I see it. This is a gross oversimplification.

Very strong question! Not really. That used to be the case, but I found that usually doesn't make for a healthy long term friendship. I respect at least some aspect of their personality if I am close with them. Sometimes "admire" is a more accurate term. I'm not so sure whether that's a good thing or not.

It's hard to keep contacts when you move. I kinda uprooted.
