I've always really liked the name Penelope for a girl. Not sure about alternates or names for a boy, but I enjoy short names (1-2 syllable) that aren't really plain westernized ones (Greg, jack, James, etc seem boring to me).

I started writing because of those state mandated writing portfolios in elementary school. I really loved the way I could just escape into writing and other worlds. Eventually, however, I wrote because there were things that I needed to express and talk about. I see writing now as one of the few things that has kept me alive-- without it I would definitely be dead or crazy. I write now because I have to in order to survive.
