      What's your favourite live show that you've gotten to photograph (ie: not necessarily the best show - but one that was fun visually and interesting to shoot)?

      probably the one I'm most thrilled to have gotten to shoot was Neil Young because he is my musical alpha and omega. Visually interesting... austin's Ume always put on a great show - their singer/guitarist is a tiny little blonde girl who is a monster on guitar, crazy hair whipping heroics. Awesome visually. Peelander-Z are an insanely entertaining Japanese punk rock band whose show has to be seen to be understood (not that you can really understand it) and Yeah Yeah Yeahs are every concert photog's dream. Visually and musically awesome.

      What kind of music can you just not stand to listen to?

      there's nothing really that I can't stand, full stop. But if given the choice between, say, free jazz and anything else, I'd probably take anything else.

      Reading up on this Imagine Fest...Do you think its gonna be awesome like Coachella or Lolla or just another Sarstock kinda thing with underwhelming acts?

      I think it would be lucky to be Sarstock. I think it will not happen at all, the very few and vague updates from the organizer have been scary and laughable. Make other plans for that weekend, sez I.

      Do you love Woodhands?

      I like Woodhands. I respect Woodhands. I can't say that with the proper amount of alcohol and mood music, I wouldn't make out with Woodhands. But I do not love Woodhands.
