Sushi is great! (●`ヮ´●) And my two most recent encounters were in London and San Francisco, so a very cool food for trips~

Don't think I've ever sung karaoke. o ^ o My voice is too quiet and doesn't have a great range (low notes = fail), so I feel like I'd be really bad at it.

I live in the United States. ^^ My parents are from China, but they moved here.

Nope, I just applied this year! ^^ Not quite there yet.

      Sleeping. Drawing. Replying to messages.

ᕙ(≧ロ≦‶)ᕗ But even then I don't think one extra hour would be enough.

To be honest, I haven't thought of any New Year's Resolutions yet! I usually do so when I write in my journal, but I didn't have time yet. >o< Well, for little goals, sleep more, spend less time mindlessly clicking around on Facebook and other sites, and remember to stretch and exercise more. Better start now... good night!

Yes! But I'm also very sad to see my high school days go. (╯▽╰) They were the best memories of my life, and I'll miss my teachers, my school, and my friends.

Everything after graduation will be miles different than what I've grown up with for the past 17 years- not living at home, large classes with strange, new people, campus life in general. It's a lot of change! Still, I'm hopeful that it will all turn out better than expected. ♥

Goodness, the once-in-a-lifetime exhilaration of states and nationals for science olympiad... or all the fun I had with my chinese class. ヾ(>ワ<)ノ The highlights of my year.

Hi Jas! Sorry it's been so long- but I understand that we're both so busy! ^^ I've been working a lot on school and my college applications. I don't think I have the kind of results you're talking about, but congratulations! :D That's super awesome! I guess we do have this thing called "class rank" where they take your grades and the level of your classes and calculate your ranking, and in that case I was in the top 20. >w<

Hehe, and before you know it, Christmas is already here. Merry Christmas! ^u^ Hope you're having a wonderful holiday filled with food and family and fun. <3

It does! That's one thing I would miss if I lived somewhere else. Snow can be so fun, and beautiful. (❁´◡`❁)*✲*

I don't think I've had a best day yet. ( ゚ 3゚) I've had some kicking awesome parts of days, but I don't think I could rank them. They're all memorable in different ways. Thinking about some of them does make me happy though. ( ´∀`)

Racial discrimination? I don't think there is a particularly high amount of racial discrimination between Americans and Asians... Granted, there is always some level of stereotyping/bias, but I wouldn't say that Asian/American tension is a big problem in the U.S. society. At least not in my experience, where I live. Personally, I don't think I've been discriminated against for being Asian, and although there are some differences in culture, habits, etc., I still feel accepted and at home in the U.S.
