well, i've said this a million times now, but my friend eric andre is one of the funniest people i've ever had the pleasure of knowing. and, he's the person that inspired me to get involved with stand up and sketch comedy. eric has always been naturally funny. he has an uncanny ability to make anyone laugh, even if you're the butt of his joke (like the time i got drunk freshman year of high school and much to my horror, eric pretended to call my mother because he was "worried about me").

i think what makes him so successful is the fact that he's SO FREAKING SMART, coupled with the fact that he's willing to make a complete fool of himself. eric bounces between long thought out hillarious rants to stripping butt naked and pushing his genitals against a sliding glass door to make a "fruit salad". he has a photographic memory and is so well versed in different types of music, history and culture that he's able to seamlessly weave topics into his ridiculous style of comedy. he's one of the few people that can legitimately bring me to tears of laughter, whether it be in his living room with a few friends or repeating a joke i've heard a million times. check him out, www.ericandre.com
