I injured my knee really badly a month after my half marathon and haven't been able to get back to a regular running schedule since. It took almost 2 months to fully recover and because I don't have insurance, I wasn't able to go to a doctor to have it looked at. I really miss running and wish I could go back to it, but the few times I've tried my knee has felt achy and I don't want to risk permanent damage. I've been wearing a knee brace since I hurt my knee just to be safe.
I did P90X a few years ago and really loved the workouts, so I've started doing the weight lifting routines at the gym. I usually go on the elliptical for 40 minutes and then lift weights for about an hour. I also like going to boot camp, kettle bell training and yoga. I try to go to the gym at least 3 times a week and take workout classes when I can. -
that's really up to you. you can style your hair when it's short, but you need some length in order to do updos.

with the exception of 3 lines (collards, oprah and stolen lotion) all of the lines are based on things that were said to me and or to friends of mine. If you're interested in reading more about my inspiration behind the video you can check out this article I wrote for the Huffington Post "from meme to social commentary" http://www.huffingtonpost.com/franchesca-ramsey/shit-girls-say_b_1184130.html

i assumed you were trolling because you asked the question twice and in all honesty, it's a pretty ignorant question that sounds like someone trying to bait me into getting angry.... but, if you're being honest then i'll actually answer your question.
(previous question I assumed was trolling...)
"My wife is black and I’m white, married for 8 years. When we’re in public places we avoid other mixed couples because we like to monopolize interracial-ness. Is this wrong?"
the idea that you and your wife want to "monopolize" or be the only mixed raced couple when you go out is EXTREMELY ignorant. is there some sort of special reward for avoiding other interracial couples or being the ONLY couple around? to me, your actions are basically discriminating against strangers and in essence perpetuating the idea that there's something wrong with being in an interracial couple. if you're in a happy relationship, why would you behave as if there's some imaginary 1 couple quota that prohibits more than one interracial couple being "exposed" to the world? you should be happy that you're in a happy and successful marriage, not ducking behind corners to avoid other couples who have every right to be just as happy as you are. the whole idea is just ridiculous and sad. by attempting to avoid someone based on their race (which is exactly what you're doing, no matter how you try to dress it up) you're just as bad as someone that looks down on or discriminates against interracial relationships. people are people. if you don't want anyone judging you and your relationship, don't do the same to anyone else.
There is absolutely no benefit to being the only interracial couple out in public and acting like there is incredibly offensive. -
1. keep it short and sweet
videos longer than 5 minutes tend to lose people. it’s also important to learn how to edit your video and edit yourself. if part of the video isn’t interesting or you flub a line CUT IT.
2. make video responses
if someone makes a video about something you’re interested in, make a response to it. you’ll get views and attract people to your other videos. the bigger the YouTuber or video, the better. but don’t just post random videos as responses, then you look desperate. only post your video as a response if it RELATES to the parent video. Video responses can stand alone (ie. your take on a recipe, style or trend) or you can tailor your content to the person/audience ie. "Hey Chescalocs! I loved your video about ___ and wanted to chime in with my thoughts..."
3. plan ahead
don’t just sit down and ramble. come up with what you want to talk about, make an outline or bullet points (if you can) and then shoot it!
4. find your niche
what do you want your videos to be about? come up with an idea or overall concept for your videos. essentially you want to create a series of videos that provide a service/entertainment so people will continue to check out your videos.
4. be active
start subscribing and leave comments! when you get comments, RESPOND to them. people will see your user name and start checking out your videos. but but be smart. don’t spam and beg people to look at your channel.
5. get creative there are tons of tutorials online about cool ways to edit your videos and make them more interesting. it takes a little work, but come up with something you’d like to shoot and then find a way to make it work. challenging yourself will only make you and your videos better. -

i usually post photos when i do something interesting with my hair. but most recently i've just been wearing a simple bun, which wouldn't be that great of a photo lol

first step, look for someone based on their character and not on their race. there's no special secret to dating inter-racially, but if that's the only reason you're interested in someone then i doubt it will be a very meaningful relationship.

I think she has a great voice and could stand to lose the costumes and theatrics. her talent as a singer songwriter should be the focus, not the spectacle.

1. pick your blogging platform - blogger.com and wordpress.com are two of the more popular blogging sites. Each has their own special features, and you can easily customize your blog using CSS or one of their customizable templates to get you started. Tumblr is another easy to use that's works in the same ways blogger and wordpress do but the main benefit of Tumblr is the built in community. It's a little "easier" to get started and build an audience there because there are so many Tumblr users and the reblog feature makes it easy to get seen and pick up new followers/readers.
2. content - Make sure you decide what you want to write about, but try not to be too broad. Pick 2 or 3 topics and then branch out from there later on, if needed. You also might want to plan out your posts beforehand (ie creating a topics schedule music Mondays, workout Wednesdays etc) or just blog whenever you feel inspired. You can also write posts and then schedule them to go up. I do this with my Twitter since I can't tweet from work. I try to schedule maybe 3 tweets throughout the day to remind people about videos/posts and then I respond when I can.
3. value - you want to make sure your posts give your readers something of value. It's ok to blog about yourself, but you want to make sure you balance elements of your life with other useful posts and tips. It's harder to get into a blog that's just "me me me" if you're a new blogger or don't already have an audience. But of course, this doesn't always apply to every topic, but it's something to keep in mind. But inspiring someone with your own experiences is another type of value. For example, I tend to blog about myself because my blog is a personal one and also serves as a supplement to my videos which are focused on comedy and beauty/hair.
4. network and promote! look for blogs with similar subjects/audiences and leave them comments with a link back to your blog. This doesn't mean SPAM other blogs. Don't leave a comment saying, "hey! check out my blog" instead, comment on their post and then include your link in your contact info. (most blogs have a section to include your link) also, include links to other blogs in yours. Promote other bloggers by incorporating their content into yours. So if you see a great post on someone else's blog, send them an email and ask if you can link to it on your blog. Most bloggers will gladly say yes, and that will encourage them to do the same for you in the future. (Tumblr makes this easy with their re-blog feature) Also, include your blog link in your email signature and on your business card and link your best posts on your Twitter and/or Facebook. But don't link or tweet EVERY post.
5. comments and emails - If someone takes the time to leave you a comment or contact you via email, positive or negative, you should in turn take the time to respond to them. You never know where your audience is coming from, and sometimes you'll win over someone that doesn't agree with you, or win the respect of another fan by how you handle criticism. Also, don't dismiss every negative comment. Sometimes there is constructive criticism and helpful information buried in there.
6. pose questions, ask for feedback and encourage discussion - This is the best way to get people commenting and coming back for more. When you post, ask your audience what they think. How do they relate to the topic? Do they agree or disagree etc. -
We knew we were in love pretty quickly. I think we had been dating for about a month when we first said it. Honestly, I'm not sure I can explain how you know. I guess the best way to describe it is that you realize that person makes you feel completely comfortable with who you are but at the same time you want to be a better person because of them. I realize that might sound like a total contradiction, but that's really the best way I can put it.
