5 - dad, mum, sis, me + my dog

Erm.. thanks I guess?

I was at Rebel, and my friend, Vivian, accompanied by Carissa, joined us. My first impression of her was... "she looks pretty fierce/cold but cool". I got to know her better when we hung out in the club. I found her attractive. Not just physically Like.. she's very different from other typical girls. Her smile.. she captivated me. As the music was pumping, and everyone else was having fun dancing and drinking, I felt that the both of us were in our own little world, enjoying each other's company. Not sure about how she felt then, but I was enjoying my time with her. She was pretty tispy at a point of time, and I felt the need / I wanted to take care of her. We were walking through the club, and she was pretty wobbly. I decided to hold her hand to support / guide her, and when the time came for Vivian and Carissa to leave, I decided to take my chance and offer to send them home (luckily Vivian was staying over t her place, if not I might have gave the wrong impression), though she stayed in the west and I, at Punggol.

When we were in the cab, she dozed off and her head was on my shoulder. That cab, that 20 minutes ride, was one of the best moment in my life. Even though it was the first time we met, somehow, I really liked her. An attraction towards her. She was, and is, special. But, I didn't get her number because I feared that she'd think I'm one of those guys that would randomly hook girls up in a club. And also, the fear of the possibility that she'd decline.

The next day, I was out with my friend, Bernard, and we were talking about her. He kept asking me to go get to know her. I was pretty reluctant, same reason. "Maybe I would if we were to ever meet each other again", I remember me saying. The very next moment, I got a message. "Hello. Is this Jeremy Thia?" "Hi, yes. I am." "Hi. I'm Carissa, Vivian's friend from yesterday. Just wanna thank you for taking care of me and sending me home. It was very nice of you. (:" Bernard started making fun of me and I tried to play it cool. But inside... I was beaming with joy.

A few messages turned into messages throughout the day, which turned to calls during the night, and nerve-wrecking dates. And one day, after watching, and suffering, nearly 3 hours of Harry Potter (I hate HP, but she loves it, so..), we went for a couple of drinks even though my friends were waiting for me at some club. I wanted to spend more time with her. Before she left, the moment felt right to ask her. So I plucked up my courage and hoped for the best. "Would you want to be my girlfriend?" She said yes.

That's how the best moment of my life begun. Being with her.

She made me into a more sensitive guy. She got me closer with my friends and made the group closer. She made me believe in love, something I didn't have before, and she made me feel loved. Someone in this world, would be more than willing to go that far to care and love me. That's her.

Basically, she made me a better person. I have learnt a lot of things about myself. Be it the good or the bad. Our characters clash, and we're both headstrong. It's hard at times because we hurt each other and our relationship. But the one thing that I'd always feel strongly for, is her. Carissa is my best friend, and lucky enough, the love of my life.
