This conversation actually happens during Episode 02 Part 1 Chapter 09 if you question Carol after Thomas and Love G go into the secret back room which you can see in my Love G Easter Egg video (http://youtu.be/j04n2FtIQ8g). York asks where Thomas is an makes the comment to Carol that must be rough running the bar with just two people and inquires why they don't hire more people to help. Carol states the paperwork would be a burden and they can run the bar fine with just two people because the town is so small. Here's the full conversation:

York: Is Thomas on a break?

Carol: Yeah, that's right. He's napping out back.

York: It must be rough with only the two of you running this place. Have you thought of hiring?

Carol: Two people is enough for a small bar in town of this size. Besides, hiring someone would be a burden with all the paper work.

York: And you want to avoid burdens?

Carol: Of course I do! That's why I want to avoid you, too.

York: Talking with me is a burden? Zach, that's quite a complement! I feel a bit like Colombo!

As for Thomas' face...it probably looks really nasty with a huge hook hole where his nose would be.

hmm it's hard to top the UFO endings. Though... I would love to see another dog one. Maybe if DP had a joke ending besides the UFO one we could see Mira again. Maybe she could be Murphy's pet dog who was pissed at him for not feeding/walking her so she put him through the hell that is Silent Hill to get back at him.

Also, Pyramid Head would turn out to be his father.

I would have to say my favorite complete soundtrack would be Silent Hill 2. I generally like all the Silent Hill soundtracks but I think I listen to this one the most. It's very melodic and it's great to listen to while I'm working :D I also very much enjoy the Final Fantasy 7 soundtrack as well.

Yes, so much so! Heather was so much fun to play! She was the first Silent Hill protagonist that I really felt said and reacted like a normal person to the gross environments and the wtf situation. Every time a new Silent Hill title is announced I hope it's another female lead.

It does bother me a little that most female roles are reserved for love interests or damsels in distress because I like playing as woman... but it's not like we haven't had *some* ass kicking leads: Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, Ada Wong, Sheva Alomar okay wow I'm just naming chicks from Resident Evil... The Silent Hill series usually has women in positions of power but most are on the antagonist side. You could say with Silent Hill at least the victims are usually men so that's actually pretty different than the norm in regards to horror!

For survival horror I have to admit though I really like it when you don't play a kick ass commando and are forced to run and hide. I really think more of this game genre should be like this, it's more terrifying when you can't rely on a high powered machine gun to blast your way out of a situation. Though it's sad that examples of this all seem to have female protagonist (Clocktower series, Haunting Ground, Rule of Rose)! I guess people feel weird running and hiding as a guy since it's not manly? :(

First yay! I hope you enjoy the HD Collection, I'm looking forward to playing it as well. Well SH3 is a direct sequel so I would suggest playing SH1 before playing that one..but it's not *totally* necessary as they do a recap of sorts. As for SH2 well there's no real plot connection so no need :) You should play SH1 anyway because it's the best in my opinion hehe
