Nope. I don't blog anymore. I figure between Facebook twitter and instragram I'm covered.
-
that's not a question....
-
Ok, so Joel trusts me it would most likely depend on who the guy is whether or not he'd be cool with it. And I can't say whether it would be fun, but it would be interesting at least.
-
Then probably not. If I can't tell Joel something it's a no go as a general rule.
-
Ahaha. I'm gonna answer this as if it's a real question cause I'm amused.
So if I'm really good friends with this guy friend and as long as Joel was cool with it and we were all comfortable I would do it as a personal favor. -
Okay, so I had to really think about this question. It's not like I have a list of photographer that I go look at their work on a regular basis and swoon over it. But after much though & consideration about what is important to me about photography, I came up with 3 photographers who I feel shoot with the same values as I hold & also have beautiful work in my very humble opinion.
1. Bobby Earle - he is the guy who made me want to be a photographer. I have always LOVED taking pictures & since as long as I can remember I have pretty much always had some kind of camera with me documenting (much to my friends annoyance probably) every minute of my life. But it wasn't until I saw Bobby's photos of his trip to Cambodia in dec 2008 that I felt a physical response to photography. It was like I felt how amazing that place was through his photos. I know it might sound cheesy to some people, but that's how it was for me.
2. Jose Villa - this one is easy, he is amazing! The simplicity and retro feeling in his photos is gorgeous to me. It's like my own personal eye candy.
3. Nate & Jacklyn Kaiser (of Image Is Found Photography) - these guys are original & amazingly talented with light & have the most fun "crazy booth" photos I've ever seen. I hope to one day set up an awesome photo booth with some friends & have as much fun with my camera as it looks like them and their clients have :) -
Joel's most irritating habit is definitely when he disagrees with me he isn't straightforward about it, like I'll ask him "do you like this?" and he clearly does not because all he does is shrug his shoulders and mumble a "yeah whatever" or something equally irritating.
As far as my irritating habits go, I'm sure there are so many that it would be hard for him to choose just one, but the first one that comes to mind is when I ask him to hand me something that is closer to me that it is to him. That drives him nuts.
But the nice thing about all this is that we both more than make up for these habits with awesome stuff we do for each other ;) -
My Oma, she's amazing and strong and has had to deal with a lot of things and difficult people and somehow she still has composure and a good sense of humor.
And a few of my photography buddies for their awesome skills :) -
I don't have very many as of right now. So I'd say the canon 50 1.8 is my favorite out of the ones I actually own. I am looking forward to upgrading pretty soon though. I'm super excited to get some new gear in a few months. So we'll see what lens is my fav when I upgrade :)

I am a California girl through and through, so I'd have to say sun! I love the beach. My favorite beach is ocean beach here in san diego.
Although I do love the snow on occasion, I don't see it very much. -

I've officially done 4 weddings. I still a huge beginner when it comes to wedding photography. But I am so addicted. I love shooting weddings!

I'm standing right behind you.

Whoever asked this must not be a parent. Cause then they would know there is no way to choose a favorite. I love them all more than I ever thought I could love a person.
-
Probably Anne of Green Gables if I had to pick just one. But I also really loved the Nancy Drew books and the Babysitters Club :)
