      What artists have inspired you?

      There is a huge list of artists that inspire me really. Ralfi Pagan and Joe Bataan and all the early Latin Jazz stuff. I love Joao Gilberto's self titled album, the way it was recorded and that early Bossa Nova sound. Forgotten 60's artists like the Left Banke, Roger Nicholls, The Cyrkle. Another favourite album is Todd Rundgren's genius 'A Wizard/A True Star', groundbreaking and so ahead of it's time. 70's and 80's funk/disco/pop. Through to more recent acts who are also inspired by and sample them, like Washed Out, The Avalanches, The Go! Team, Daft Punk, Star Slinger, Jay Electronica, Toro Y Moi, James Blake the list is endless!
