I would argue that there's no such thing as "relevant worship" as if there is "irrelevant worship". Worshiping Jesus is relevant and that is the point that we need to get across to this generation, and we do that through relevant music. Scripture does not define a sacred style of music, therefore we have the freedom to sing our praises to Jesus in a way that speaks this generation's musical language. We are not trying to make Jesus relevant, rather we are trying to communicate that Jesus IS relevant to this generation and all generations.
