
my parents came to visit me for easter, and brought me three dozen [yes i said three dozen] eggs, not chocolate eggs, but eggs. i have now gone in a full out panic mode not knowing what to do with all these eggs? HELP!
Macaroons! That requires a lot of egg whites, separate them out and save the yolks. Then use the yolks to brush on top of some pie crusts to get a nice browning? Lemon Meringue requires a lot of eggs as well. The eggs should keep for a bit, I currently have 5 dozen eggs in my refrigerator (I have about a dozen chickens). If they are just store bought eggs, I know they aren't as fresh so they might not last as long. Quiches, hardboiled eggs, lots of baking. It sounds like fun to me.
