The Diagnostic Sonography program has a two part application process. The first step is to apply for admission to the University. You can do this online at www.washburn.edu/apply-now and the application only takes about twenty minutes to complete.
Second, you will need to apply for admission to the Sonography program. All the information you need is available at: http://www.washburn.edu/main/sas/allied-health/diagnostic-medical-sonography/files/2011-2012%20DMS%20App.pdf
It is important to act quickly, the deadline for admission into the program is February 1. -
Washburn is a great place to earn your Master's Degree! All students that are interested in obtaining an advanced degree from Washburn are asked to complete a general university application as well as an application for the specific program you are interested in studying. The starting point is: http://www.washburn.edu/main/admissions/more-info/graduate-programs.html
Each program has slightly different requirements but they all require that you submit your academic transcripts along with your application. I encourage you to send in everything that is available and then send in your final college transcript once you have earned your degree in June.
Please feel free to email me anytime to address your specific questions. patrick.cawiezell@washburn.edu -

Steve, there are two steps that you need to take. First you have to complete a general application to Washburn, available at www.washburn.edu/apply-now
Second, you will complete an application for the program, their priority deadline is February 1 so you still have time to get that in before they start making any decisions. A link to more information about the program is available: http://www.washburn.edu/main/sas/allied-health/magnetic-resonance/application.html
Both the department and the Admission office need your official college transcripts. Please have two copies sent to Washburn, one to each office. -
Washburn requires you to submit your official transcript from each institution you have previously attended. There is still time to get enrolled in classes for the spring term but you need to apply soon. Go to www.washburn.edu/apply-now to complete your application and get the ball rolling on enrollment, classes start next Tuesday the 17th.

Your best resource will be the Registrar's Office. They are in charge of all student records and any transcripts that you would need. The phone number is 785-670-1074.
