Off the top of my head, I'd recommend two of my favourite places:

      1. Calicoan, Samar: This is a gorgeous little resort with all the amenities needed for a group who just wants to chill by an infinity pool and unwind. You can take a plane to Tacloban from Manila and take a two hour car ride to the resort. They should be able to help with all the arrangements:

      2. Coron, Palawan: Definitely one of the most beautiful places in the Philippines. I highly recommend Club Paradise, a lovely resort on its own little white sand island. This is where I got married a year ago. :) Club Paradise can also be reached via a plane from Manila to Busuanga.

      Enjoy your trip!

I wish finding your purpose could be as easy as waking up and knowing exactly what you want to do forever. But many people, myself included, aren't that lucky. You used the word 'obsessed' in your question and I hope that means you're actively trying new things to see which one fits you best. That's a great start.

My tip is that you shouldn't focus on a purpose for the rest of your life, simply focus on a purpose for NOW. What makes you happy now? What makes other people around you happy now? Careers change, people change, life changes. If you try to look for something that will make you feel fulfilled from now to 80, you might never find it. Start with something you enjoy, stick with it, and do it to the best of your abilities. And if in the end it isn't meant for you, don't beat yourself up over it. The journey will have taught you a thing or two to prepare you for the next one.

I had a similar question asked last year and this was my reply: http://catjuan.com/post/6068530580

      I hope this helps!

I do believe this is the first fashion question I've received. Since Cobalt Blue is such a striking color, I would recommend that you don't pair it with any other colors. Instead go for metallic strappy shoes (silver or gold would be nice). Don't forget to match your purse and jewellery with whatever metal you choose so you don't look like a pawn shop. Hope this helps! :)

What a lovely question. It would have to be two things:

Noche Buena with my family in Cebu and Manila: my grandfather's eggnog, a smorgasbord of pica-pica, a whole leg of lamb with real alioli, opening presents at midnight, getting tipsy on champagne or rum.

Christmas morning with my immediate family. My parents, brother, and I sitting in our living room in our PJs opening all the presents under our tree. I'm looking forward to this year because we've got a new family member (the husband) joining us. ;)

Tough question. Both cameras are really good. Do you plan to take a lot of self-portraits? Go for the G12 because of the flip-out screen.

Are you planning to take a lot of portraits? Go for the LX5 which has a lovely wide angle at 2.0.

I believe this site might help in your decision:

Hi! I designed everything myself using photoshop.

My friend, @pancakedesign, then put it all together for me. You can easily make links to images by putting the html code for links. There are tons of tutorials online. I hope this helps. :)

Great question! Here are a list of OPM groups I like, I've also thrown in recommendations from some friend on Twitter:

      1. Ciudad
      2. Up Dharma Down
      3. Cynthia Alexander
      4. Sound
      5. Rico Blanco

      8. Pedicab
      9. Franco
      10. Urbandub
      11. Moscow Olympics

Hope this is enough to start with. :)

Congratulations on your coming wedding. :) My words of advice: GET A PLANNER.

I was fortunate enough to hire Manila Wedding Bees to help with my preparations. We sent emails to each other almost every day during the nine months I was given to prepare.

Having planners around to help with logistics and make sure I was following our timeline gave me peace of mind. I never felt extremely overwhelmed while planning our wedding, even though I was a continent away.

You'd be surprised how affordable planners are and there are a number of really good ones out there. I highly recommend going with a planner who is not a close friend and who has successfully done a few weddings already of people you know. This is a really important time for you and it's important to feel comfortable with the person you'll be talking to, sometimes even more than your fiance. Haha.

      Good luck!

Thank you for your kind words. :) Yup, I definitely play with my digital photos in Photoshop. I often tweak the contrast or saturation and when I think it suits the photo, I add a vignette. I don't really do much else. I hope this helps!

Hello. I bought my Elemi oil at Ritual (located in The Collective, Makati) this is their website: http://www.ritualshop.com/

Remember that if you plan to use it on your face, please get the elemi/jojoba mix. :)

This question is going to make me homesick. ;)
      1. my family
      2. my friends
      3. coming home to a home-cooked meal
      4. Filipino fruits (mangoes, mangosteens, pineapples... I can go forever)
      5. tropical waters
      6. Filipino food done with Filipino ingredients
      7. how everything is so affordable
      8. our beaches
      9. Caliraya lake
      10. crispy bacon (no seriously, it's so hard to find this in Australia)

      :)

    16. Cat Juan

Haha. I don't blame you. I recommend starting to use a retinol at night. Vitamin A is one of the only ingredients out there scientifically proven to renew cells. Philosophy's Help Me is one of the best brands out there. I also recommend sunblock of at least 20+spf or higher every single day. Hope this helps!

If you'd like to stay away from looking white, I might suggest that BB creams aren't for you. Every BB cream brand I've tried so far leaves a whitish cast. I'd probably recommend a tinted moisturizer to bring the glow back (Laura Mercier has a lovely formula - even their oil free one is good)

You might also want to opt for a shade one step darker to help it match a little better with your arms and legs, but it is quite natural for our face to be lighter than your hands so don't try to match it perfectly. It actually looks a little unnatural. The lady at the makeup counter of your choice can help you with this.

Don't forget to put your foundation all the way down to the base of your neck, the face doesn't stop at the chin. Hope this helps!

      Hi there,

      Here's a Spain itinerary

Madrid (make day trips to Segovia and Toledo)
Work your way up north to Barcelona
Go further up north to San Sebastian
Take four hour train back to Madrid
Take bus to Cordoba (optional, but nice to see the church)
      Take bus to Sevilla
Take bus to Granada (definitely a must-see)

This whole trip can be done if you have 2 weeks to spare.

For Europe. This is the trip I recently put together

Berlin - Prague - Munich - Zurich - Turkey (Istanbul, Ephesus, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Cappadocia)

      Hope this helps. Happy travels!

Favourite, too easy. Cooking. Lease favourite- cleaning the bathroom. Bleck! Thankfully, I'm the only one who uses it.
