heheheh. No, no rock band. It's just spring, summer -- time to get out and about!

Not quite sprung yet, but it has been lovely. Nothing unusual for the garden. Just basics like tomatoes, peppers, corn, beans, etc. I wish we could grow carrots or cruciferous vegs, but they don't do well in our soil.

Piglet VG! (I don't want to giveaway your full name for privacy reasons, of course.)

I don't think I have that much knowledge about it, but I have hours and hours of experience -- I've chewed on a lot of ghost town dust in my time.
I don't really have any tips aside from just go and peek around.
You can look at sites like http://www.ghosttowns.com/ for inspiration. And if the music when you're on the town specific pages doesn't inspire you to get out there and kick your heels in the dirt, nothing will. Give this one a try: http://www.ghosttowns.com/states/ut/frisco.html Ooooh, doggie, that there's one nice n purty ghost town. -
It's been a crazy non-winter here, so it seems like spring is here already. There's rumor of an inch of snow tomorrow, so maybe that will help with the winter feel. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining at all! Best winter ever!! I suspect spring will be in full swing in March. Tulips and daffodils will once again show their beauty and hope of summer temperatures will abound.
We had a ground hog type creature a few years ago. I think it was just passing through on its way to a less suburban landscape. -
No, not really. I make some tentative plans and just hope for the best.

No, I don't believe in an all knowing, all powerful supreme being.
Nor do I believe the faithful are brainwashed. Most people simply choose to believe what they are taught growing up. The negative connotation of "brainwashing" isn't really applicable to most believers unless you choose to believe that cultural education of any kind be considered "brainwashing."
I think it's also a bit shortsighted to think that religious people are brainwashed. I think a lot of people struggle, examine and still choose to follow a particular religion. To me, it's just one of those things that we can't prove nor disprove. Unfortunately, for a lot of religions, they see non-believers as being bad, immoral, hell-bound people. I just see believers as being people who choose to believe something I don't. -
No, I don't believe they exist, but the idea of them is intriguing. I like the romanticised idea of wings, too.

A giant fish bowl costume. It was fab.

Oh dang, I hadn't thought of anything in a while, but now that you asked, visions of Jello baths and...me...popped in my head.

Nothing planned for Halloween day, but hosted a Zombie Apocalypse party last night. Lots of good brains to eat!
Happy Halloween! -
Hmmm...I don't know. Where have you been during your life?

The flashlight! Brilliant and brilliant!

Bewitched. I like witches more than genies. Oh, and the nose wiggle is far more cool than the crossed arm nod/pony tail flip.
-
Monsters. The characters are more "approachable."

It means the unofficial end of summer. A sad time, indeed.

No one has made a movie like that yet. I suspect it would be a bit too dull to ever hit the silver screen.

It was a lot of fun, but it seemed a bit long this year. I was there for nine days which seemed like four days too long.
