Oh? :D I wonder who you are, so I can decide whether to return the love... ^^
-
Yeah...on a need-to-answer basis. :P I get questions, I answer. I don't get questions, I leave it be. Simples. ;)

Hmm...haven't watched a lot of Jack Dee's stuff to have a good opinion on it; but the Cold Calling clip wasn't too bad (I can relate; having done work exp in a contact center xD)
Russell Howard? Love his stuff on Mock The Week! Though that's all I've seen him do. xD
I don't really follow a single comedian per se; but Russell Peters (Canadian-Indian dude, look him up on Youtube) isn't too shabby in my books. Otherwise, I get my fix watching MTW and Whose Line (yes, BOTH versions!) ;) Shame Frankie Boyle's no longer on MTW. :/ x -
Ooh, darn. I've loved each and every travel spot that I've been to, so tough call! xD
Hmm...I'd have to go with South Korea. It's been yonks since I've been there (5 years), and they're not -that- cheap - but their markets are just wonderful. A bunch of my crazy colorful hair accessories come from there ;) <3 -
That "Nazi" quip was just my way of saying no. ;)
True, we could do that...*Or* we could see it this way: just because Hitler, Bin Laden (and at the moment, a few other cardinals/priests in power) were/are -really- bad apples doesn't mean that religious groups will be the death/destruction of us all. I'm pretty sure that the original leaders of said religious groups only intended for good to come out of their ways. Even Prophet Muhammad, yes. :D
If anything, it's when people forget to round out religious belief with common sense that things go amok - and it doesn't have to be a'la the Holocaust/terrorist bombings; I know of some people who indulge toooooo much in religious ritual - or take their religion's teachings overboard/outta context (like the suicide bombers) that you just look at them and go, "WOAH. HOLD ON THERE!"
Benjamin Zephaniah (awesome poet, I might say) is my role model in this sense - we both do our best to "see the good and bad in all religions". Oh, and we don't preach in our work/whatever we do.
So no, I don't agree. Though from your statement, I'm taking that you're perhaps atheist/agnostic? ;)
PS - Want a kicker besides this essay? I'm Roman Catholic. Hmmm..... -
HAAAAAAAAAI back. xD
He's a friend of a friend. :) The way we ended up being Fbook mates is a tad amusing...
I'm assuming you guys are college mates? :D <3 xx -
It's perhaps a little bit self-absorbed for myself to call it the best gift, but hey...
There was one birthday (spring 09) where I was stuck for a gift idea, but I didn't want my good friend to go without. So I wrote up a "mock voucher" and made it out in his name for "one birthday wish", telling him to redeem it when he knew what he wanted from me. xD
PS// He redeemed it the following year for something that made us both happy :) -
ARGH - you're asking for a dead-long answer, because I have quite a few faves! ><
At the moment, Brit/American artists on the top of my playlist include Jamiroquai, Corinne Bailey Rae and Simply Red. As for Asian music, I quite like UVERworld, Big Bang and m-flo. -
"It's doing what you love." -- Larry from Night @ The Museum 2 :)
Well, so long as you don't compromise others in the process! -
Hmm, the thought of *making* someone fall in love with you is rather disturbing...pass. :/
-
Hah, no. But I did have to stay in the hospital for pneumonia...was in there for a week. Ish. xD
-
Well, my parents married each other a few years after meeting in college/uni. If they're decent, why not?
-
It's a toss-up between Sara Melas in Hitch and Abby Richter in The Ugly Truth. Rom-coms aside...(j/k xD)
-
Fat with a pretty face -- because there's exercise. xD
-
Having to wax/thread off unwanted body hair. Yes, including that on the face. :P
-
Lunatic for hire. :D
(Of course, not for hiring in the perverse sense.) -
Yes and no. :) Yes because I missed a)the people in general (plenty of them have left to concentrate on RL stuff) and b) having an avenue to constantly improve my skills (both graphic + coding.)
No is because I've been preoccupied with doing more things IRL; I just don't have the means to keep up with CSS/HTML standards - keeping up with drama rehearsal schedules is a LOT easier. xD
Coming back proper? Perhaps. I do have some good sketches that I did for Surrealle; the only thing stopping me is designing a good gallery/blog hybrid script. :P -
Mum, Dad, and Jerry (my brother.) I think this one's a no-brainer. xD
-
A jet, because I have a fear of pirates. Especially after that British couple on their yacht got abducted by some... :/
