I've been asked to shoot my first birth story, & I was hoping you could give me a few tips on the best way to go about it... I want to make sure I'm respectful and professional but still get capture the moments. Any advice? Thank you so much 4 your time!

      1. shoot bw. the lights in those places are usually florescent of some sort and no offense, but babies that just came out don't look good in color :).
      2. ask if you can turn the lights on.
      3. use fast lenses
      4. bring close up filters (a lot cheaper and lighter than lugging around that mackro lens)
      5. bring more film than you expect to shoot, ALWAYS
      6. if it is their first birth, expect it to go LONG :).

      good luck!
