I always re read super old things, I think I was alright back then, more creative but less polished definitely. I do cringe though yes. And yes I doooo, it's a writing blog I put up for my own sake, it makes me feel better to see my poems etc exist somewhere on the Internet rather than just in my notebooks. But it's seeeeecret!

An EP stands for "extended play" I believe? And it's just a release title for something that doesn't quite constitute a full album usually, ranging from three to six ish songs typically.

I don't think I have the attention span for it. It's kind of like deciding to become a long distance runner after a lifetime of being a sprinter. I like to get across the condensed version of whatever story I'm trying to tell, which songwriting is good for. It'd be hard to get into a more long form writing style at this point. But maybe.

Aw thanks! I wrote that when I was fifteen, I feel like its so old at this point I can't revisit it, but maybeeeee.

Probably when Dennis our tour manager thought William was dead. Or when we were in Boston and I got this English guy into a show with us for free because I pretended he was in our "band".

I actually don't know the names of any of his songs haha because he doesn't introduce them before he plays. But I like the one that goes "always up or down never down and out..." also he has a brand new song that he showed me but it isn't released yet! Catchy stuff.

Thanks! I bleached the ends with Manic Panic Flash Lightning. I angled the bleach to follow my hairline though, so it looks less blunt etc. I staggered the bleach by taking a few pieces and bleaching them either lower or higher up on the strand. I used a foil bleaching technique and left it on for ten minutes. I washed that out and then dried my hair. I bought a Natural Auburn box kit dye from Walgreens, I think it was Clairol? Applied the Auburn mixture to my ends mostly, then worked up toward my scalp but did NOT dye my roots. Permanent dye works the most quickly there since all the heat is coming out of your head through your scalp etc so DON'T use the auburn there otherwise your roots will be weird orange. Annnnnd then I let the dye sit for 20 minutes, rinsed, blow dryed, and voila

Even though Taylor's lyrics aren't exactly the most incredible, she is good at achieving her goal of bringing the listener into her emotional experience... Maybe I'm just a softie but I've definitely felt that tug from some of her songs. So thank you! That's my goal too. I've tried to be arty or poppy and other things, but it's just not me, I just try to stick to what I know and right now it seems to be working :) thanks again
