      what do you think of the beautyblender?

      i almost picked one up the other day... but didnt. i have yet to try it because for some reason i think im not going to like it. But i just need to try it because i hear great things

      where did you buy the MUS products at?

      they sent it to me a whie ago. the brand is MUS beauty. i dont like the lipsticks though so dont buy that. that pigment i used was great though. their glosses are pretty good too!

      Did you see 11th gorgeous' new video on how they messed up her hair?! I can't believe they did that.. Since your a stylist and what not.. what do you think that the girl did wrong? I would legit cry if that happened to me! lol

      she sounded to me like she had no clue what she was doing... or was a new stylist. when you tone.. you have to watch it... because it can change really fast OR really slow... ALSO... she probably used to low of a developer for the bleach and it didnt lift fast enough which is why it turned yellow. also the fact that she didnt do foils.. and just started painting it on without talking about it to tracy was also weird. those kinds of things need to be covered in the consult. the whole situation was weird. im guessing she was new.... those things you learn as you work longer.

      i have a quick question when you dyed your hair with the highlights on the side and stff how did you get it done? and what color did u use?

      my permanent red hair dye literally turned a brassy orange in like 2 weeks. but it was pricey getting it done, any ideas on how i can revive the color and prolong it?

      yesh, reds always fade way faster than other colors because the size of the color molecule. you could try getting a shampoo and mixing a red dye into it... like manic panic (i think you can get that at like sallys but im not positive.)

      would it look bad if i used a moss green color (urban decay's mildew eyeshadow to be exact) lining under my eyes only, and use a black or brown eyeliner as a small wing? i have dark brown eyes in case that's important

      i think you mean country. and yes i have. i have been to cabo san lucas mexico, and i went on a cruise. so... Germany, venice, rome, florence, napels, athens and santorini greece, Nice France, and barcelona spain

      I was wondering, do you know if it's safe to use hot tools on newly colored hair? I just did my color yesterday and I wanted to curl my hair today but I was kinda scared it would damage my color so I didn't but I'm still wondering...

      hey carahh! so i want to be a makeup artist in the future. and plan on going to mud in la.. i want to move out to la to pursue my whole career but im scared... do you think i should do makeup and hair? can i just do makeup and still make good money? cont.

      if you live in a big enough city then makeup will get you by. but if you plan on living in a smaller town.... just doing makeup is hard.... and you probably wont make the best living. I make most of my money doing hair.... and makeup is more on the side because i live in a smaller town where its not needed quite as much. i do alot of weddings nad things like that.

      at mud they do hair too but its only like styling i think not cutting.. so i dont know if that counts as being a hair stylist.

      well if you dont get your hair license i wouldnt consider you a licensed hair stylist.

      is beauty school and makeup school the same?

      it depends. i assume if you go to "makeup school" you will learn things like special effects makeup and stuff. beauty school just focuses on the basics and enhancing peoples features.

      (part 2) or curl on special occasions. My hair is like yours: thin-ish and straight. I feel like I need to get a trim (1 inch) but my hair grows really slow and my bday is march 8 and I want to curl my long hair. should I wait until after my bday? or now?

      just wait :) if you want long hair on your b-day... you can hold out a month. i mean you have already waited a VERY long time... so one more month wont hurt

      can i use the Enjoy (intensive) hair and skin treatment oil on my hair as a heat protectant?

      i dont think as a heat protectant no.... but it makes it really awesome and smooth.... i love that stuff on my skin!! its amazing

      Hi Carah, I absolutely love all your videos! I was wondering, how would you style black combat boots? I recently bought a pair, and was unsure of what type of outfits to wear with them.

      keep it casual with TIGHT skinny jeans and a baggy v-neck t of some sort... and maybe a bug knitted scarf.

      Hi Carah! I hope you're having a good weekend! I was wondering if you ever wash your scarfs? My washer has a gentle/hand wash cycle on it? Do you think it would be safe to put it in there? I thought I'd ask you & see if you have any tips! Thanks(:

      if it has any fringe i would say hand wash. if not... you would probably be safe to use a gentle cycle on them.
