I love America, I was an exchange student in California when i was in high-school. When I came back to France I spoke English fluently. I love how it sounds, I love to speak it and to listen to it. I would never watch an american movie dubbed in french. Maybe we could make a swap ?

It's getting more difficult to get Capucine on video now... I hope it's only a stage she's going through.

A Canon 400 D for pictures and a Canon G10 for videos. I'm a Canon person ;)

"Tralalère" is a childish taunt, pretty similar to "neener neener".

Yes they do. When you see someone you know, you kiss them on both cheeks. In certain parts of France, you give 3 kisses. You shake hands with persons you're not very familiar with, but as soon as people become close acquaintances, kissing is the way to greet each other.

Capucine had english classes last year, but not anymore. Aliocha studies it at school.

Unfortunately, there's not. Students have parties, but not necessarily through the school. Nothing official.

Yes, I have to say that we got lots of smiles from people and we overheard the word "cute" a few times. :)
On a side note : i was AMAZED that when you get into the subway with a child, people always stand up to give their seat to the kid. You don't see that very often in France, so that was really, really nice.
Capucine also got recognized twice, once by two young girls and their mom at the Gap Store, and another time by a girl in the subway.
I wasn't there at the Gap Store, but her dad told me that the girls (i think they were 10 and 12) wanted a picture taken with Capucine, but Capucine didn't want to. Poor girls, i hope they were not too much disappointed... :)
The subway story is funny. We were trying to buy subway cards at the machine, and i asked a girl who was standing behind us if she could help, because I was a little lost.
When she realized that we were French, she started talking to us in French because her dad is Canadian.
Then, at some point, she turned to Capucine, looked at her... and said :
"Oh !! Wow !! Is she Capucine ??! I know her !! I've watched her videos !! My roommate is french and she loves her as well ! She will not believe I've met her !!"
That was so funny and unexpected !
I had my camera with me, and this time Capucine agreed to have a picture taken, so I asked her for her email and I sent her the picture when we got home. :) -
Aliocha tends to have more nightmares than Capucine, I guess it comes with his anxious character. But they're not the recurring kind. Capucine has had a few nightmares but she's not fearing anything in particular.
-
Not very often actually. Hervé loves to cook ! We go out for lunch pretty often though, as soon as the nice weather is back.

Aliocha est né le 1er janvier.
Capucine est née le 24 juin.
