Currently our site doesn't support adding friends from Candystand itself. It's something we've thought a lot about but haven't had the chance to figure out yet. Thanks for letting us know that you want the feature, though!

We our best to schedule down times when we don't see peaks in traffic, but sometimes bugs come up and they need to be addressed whether it's 2am or 2pm. We're working on a better 'Site Down' page with integrated games though -- stay tuned! :)

Head to your Account Settings (http://www.candystand.com/my-player-profile?tab=profile) and scroll to the bottom. You'll be able to choose from our Candystand icons OR use your Facebook Connected photo.

Nope, all games give you 100 tickets per score submit, but you can earn up to 100 more tickets by making sure you're connected on Facebook, are a Facebook fan, share your score with your friends and challenge friends to that game.

That is a really tough question. If I was stuck on an island *today* I'd probably bring something like Mass Effect 1/2 (as well as an Xbox 360, gigantic TV and power source). If I were stuck on an island forever? I have no idea :P

Unfortunately we don't have currently plans to retrofit older games with Trophies. Not because we're lazy or mean (not in this case, anyways!) but rather due to the fact that we don't have the access to the code for some of these games that would allow us to add score-submit, and thus, Trophies.
Hope this makes sense. On the bright side, almost every single one of our new games debuting each Tuesday DO have Trophies. :) -

Friends are automatically added when you connect to Facebook (any friends you have who also are connected to Candystand will show up in your friend leaderboards). Currently there is no functionality to manually add friends.

Can't answer for every other Candystand staffer, but if we're talking about domestic pets, I like dogs. :) Specifically french bulldogs or labs.

You earn tickets by submitting your high scores in game. You'll get 100 tickets every time you submit a score, plus up to 100 extra tickets if you connect via Facebook, share your score with friends and are a fan of our Facebook page. :)

There were originally characters in a game we were working on... but have never got around to releasing. Maybe one day you'll see it ;) (we're busy and easily distracted by other shiny things)
