I have not - I did once or twice early on but the costs associated with large format were too much to stomach at the time. The results from large format are sure worth it for some shots though.
Sadly now with digital backs the price is still a bit too high for me to consider, but it would be something i would like to experiment with - I guess i need to find someone who has one and is willing to loan it out for a few days... -
I got into photography a long time ago as a kid at my high school and before... Why I got into Glamour photography was more of a need to do it vs. a want - I had a project to produce a Motorcycle calendar and the honest answer was all the photographers I talked to were either too expensive or just plain not very good...
Bull by the horns and 15 grand later in equipment I am where I am today and I never did produce the calendar. -
I shoot with Nikon as my main DSLR, thou I have a Canon G10 for my around town camera.
Cameras are just tools and not status symbols. Pick the equipment you can use and works for you. If you have friends that use Nikon and have cool lenses they will let you borrow - use Nikon and borrow your friends lenses. If its Canon use canon...
Main thing is to shoot and shoot. I have been outshot by pro friends using a disposable camera. -
Teleporter or Time Travel - either would be just fine with me...
