It literally means Family :) The usrah that i went to, is basically a gathering of sisters and we read the Qur'an together & contemplate on the surahs, discuss about life and how we can better ourselves as muslims. At the same time, we make many friends, because to strive upon Allah's path, it's not easy to do it alone. It's better t have friends who will always remind you of Him and will help you up when you're down:D Like this.....

Love. I am in loveeeee, with all my brothers and sisters who are all on their own struggle to keep up with the Deen when their parents actually dislike it, them ones who keep me grounded, who remind me of Allah each time we meet. Such ukhwwah MashaaAllah<3

I'd like to be somewhere in the middle where it's close to the country and the city.

Late. Lol. I think my friends are pretty much used to the fact that when i state a time to meet, i'll be there 15 minutes later. Or it's just a girl thing. No, maybe it's just me .__.

Firstly, i wear it for Allah's sake, i understand it isn't a must(wajib) in Islam but it is recommended(mustahab). From my research & understanding, it is the dressing of the sahabiyat and mashaaAllah, i want to follow their footsteps too:)

If you want to do something solely for Allah's sake, no matter how difficult it is, you'd do it because you know the rewards, you are SURE He will guide you. So no, it isn't difficult. The intentions of course have to be right, if not you will see it as a hassle.

What it's like? It's amazing, wallahi it is. I won't lie though, that sometimes, I get insults and most of them are from ignorant people or Islamophobes, but I have learnt to be bolder & it teaches me to be more confident, Alhamdulillah. Other than that, when i wear it, i feel much more closer to Allah. Niqab for me, is like a jihaad( no jihaad is not a holy war like what the media tells you, jihaad basically means struggle) on it's own. People think by wearing this piece of cloth on my face,it makes me oppressed. But no, i honestly feel LIBERATED. Because in Islam, women are kept safe, they should be kept safe from the eyes of strange men. Islam teaches us to respect women, so to respect, Allah has ordered the believing women to put on hijab:)

Also, when i wear my abaya,my hijab and niqab, i feel happy because I am NOT a slave to the society(as you notice how women today are being commercialized in degrading ways) or to fashion. I am comfortable in my own skin<3 It also makes me feel like I'm living the life of a real Ghurabaa'(Stranger) {Islam began as something strange and it will return strange as it began, so glad tidings for the strangers}- Prophet Muhammad (saw)

Actually there's so much more i feel when i wear the niqab, hehehe, thanks for asking anon:)

      Barakallah feeki!
