      I'm looking at buying a second lens for my used 5D (I already have 1.8f, 50mm). What would you recommend? My budget is $400. Would appreciate any advice!

      I'd get the 85mm 1.8 that + the 50mm 1.4 are the only two non L-series that I have experience with + whole heartedly approve of!

      I'm interested in how you established the pricing for your work, and how has that changed as you've gained experience. What have you done to counteract the impression people have that photography is easy and therefore shouldn't cost much?

      When you started photographing, did you always work for yourself? Photographer's assistant? What would be your advice for a hopeful photographer-to-be? Where would you start? :)

      I assisted a little, but not much. My main advice would be to shoot as much as possible, + show as many people as possible. Your skill will increase as will your audience.

      You travel a lot, it seems. It that due to your photography work or personal travel? I too am a photographer, soon I will be out of school. I am trying to decide which way to take my work. Any suggestions?

      i started traveling just because i loved it... i took tons of photos along the way + eventually got paid to travel too. i don't think anyone gets paid to travel right off the bat though...

      Do you makle your own actions in photoshop? Your photos look vintagey without being washed out. I like.
