Hey! No I haven't, I guess life has just taken over somewhat, so blogging is on the backburner. It'd be nice to get back to it one day (maybe over summer) but at the moment, I'm just not in a blogging place. It's very kind of you to ask though, I do appreciate it! & thank you re the teacher stuff - I am SO thrilled!!

Because after researching unis + cost, I had a reality check and realised I didn't have the £100,000+ I'd need for it! It sucks, because I still desperately want to live in the States, but I just don't have that money, and do not want to be 100k in debt before I'm 22..

Hello! TBH, I have no idea! I don't count it...but I saw a sports nutritionist 18months ago and she seemed happy, so I guess I'm doing it right! I think 80g is easily done on a vegan diet (there are vegan bodybuilders and marathon runners who need over 100g a day) - you'd have to think about it more and plan ahead than you might do on a regular diet, but it works.
I tend to have a smoothie for breakfast, whcih I make with rice protein powder (all natural, no added weird ingredients or sugar), and I definitely think it's useful to have something like that. As long as it's a decent protein powder (like I say, one with a load of added junk isn't going to do you any good), it's worth investing in.
I snack on things like soya yogurt, which has about 5g protein in a small serving, and I normally have it with some cereal (I pick ones that have more protein per serving). I don't know where you're from so it's hard to recommend a brand, but there are a ton of vegan bars out there with 10g protein in (Trek bars spring to mind).
Tofu, tempeh - both are super good sources. A small serving of edamame beans = 10-12g protein. Legumes - particularly lentils - are good too. Vital wheat gluten / seitan is a VERY rich source of protein (26g ish per serving) - you can but VWG online at flourbin.com real cheap :-) and then there are so many recipes online (ie theppk.com) and in vegan cook books on how to make seitan or burgers/sausages etc from it. I honestly think the only way you can be protein deficient as a vegan is if you are calorie deficient. You could give it a go, make a few meal plans and research your options, and give it a go :-) -
Correlation! I don't get many comments cos my readership is right low down, I don't post often, and my posts aren't very interesting anymore haha!

YES! 100%! I don't run because it burns calories (although it's a nice side effect - read`: I get to eat a sh!t ton of chocolate and not be obese :p), I run because it makes me feel like a super hero! It's boosted my self esteem no end, and I feel like I can do anything when I run :-)

Oh crikey, that's a tough question! My tastes in books is changing/maturing all the time - I used to love chick lit, but now I'm discovering random authors that write fabulously about more serious stuff (but I couldn't name any - memory of a fish right here). If I'm looking for something easy and fun that I know I'll love, I'll read Jodie Picoult or Jeffery Deaver. I just finished The Slap though, which was really good, and now I'm reading a book called The Horse Boy. Birdsong is next on my list!

I really like it! I tend to only do Levels 2 & 3, but I really enjoy them. If I did two levels, I'd see it as a light workout - BUT that's on my current fitness level (whcih is pretty fit!), and the fact that my weights are not very heavy. If I wanted to do one level and get a good workout [for me], I'd do a 3 or 4mile run too. It's all relative though - for people with less fitness, or when I was coming back from injury for example, one level was perfect. It just depends where you're at :-)

Like whatever you flavour it with! You honestly can't taste the spinach, so if you added in a big spoon of PB and blended it with banana, it'd taste peanut butter-banana-y..! Or if you add vanilla extract, it'll taste vanila-y. They always, always taste delicious though :p
-
YES!!! I really wanted them to, they're all so sweet :-)
-
Haha :-) One day! I appreciate you asking me to :D
-
Jillian Michaels!! I adore her :-) Davina McCall also has some good ones, and the Pump It Up / Ministry of Sound series isn't too bad...but my go-to is definitely Jillian.
-
Well, I know that Rhythmix had no choice in changing, but I really hate the name Little Mix! Though, I adore ...Mix, and I think their performance last night was the best :-)
The Risk: no. Just ... no. I hate them! -
Oh crumbs, I've been looking out for it (and even went on their website) and haven't seen it back. I really hope you're right!!
Burgers - I used about 170g tofu, mashed, crumbled and severely squished. For the nooch-hummus ones (which were the best), I mixed in a single-serve pot of hummus, a couple of tbsps of nooch, and seasonings (salt, pepper, liquid smoke and mixed herbs). Mush it all together, squish into two ramekins, and baked until the tops were brown and the edges were pulled away from the sides.
The basil ones and the cumin-tarragon ones had the same method, except I used a load of vegan flavoured cream cheese in place of the hummus and nooch, and the banana vanilla one had: 'melted' banana, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt and I thiiink that was it...
They're good though! -
Well they stopped over the summer, and as of yesterday, they hadn't restocked for winter..maybe I'm too early though :p
-
haha! Let me check...*goes to fridge*... Le Sojami dairy free speciality in bsil flavour! I picked it up at a tiny little health food store near me, but I have never, ever seen or heard of it before :/
-
I would try to, yes, BUT I wouldn't do it alone - I'd find a professional or similar, ie someone who really knows about how to raise a child vegan. I'd also be open minded - I mean, I know I need (for eg) flaxseed to be healthy, a baby/child wouldn't and if they didn't like it..that's that. So if they were low on a vitamin or nutrient or were sick or not thriving, i'd be open to change :-)
-
Nope, your calculations are spot on! I graduate at 4pm today :-) Thank you!! You're verhhy kind :)
-
Nope, still the same! Why would they change because I don't photograph them? I suppose the only difference is that my food is mildly warmer / less melted, but that's it :p
And awh, thank you for missing it :-) (if that makes sense!?) -
My mum and I split the cost. She's used him a couple of times (for stuff like pasta sauce) but she doesn't seem that bothered by him. My stepdad refuses to use him - he's a typical man and is set in his ways, so will ONLY use this crappy, old blender when he makes a sauce! Men *sigh....
