How do you take good candids of strangers without them noticing? If they've found out how do you continue despite what appears to be slight irritation? Do you ask permission, say, if you're in a market stall?

well the point of a candid shot is trying to shoot someone without them noticing, but when you have the intention to shoot a person straight up from the front it's best to ask them for their permission. in the past, i always talked to the people i shot whether they were strangers or friends, it's always best to make them feel comfortable so the shot would turn out more natural. but yes, i do irritate people once in a while without asking people for their permission, but i never had someone come up to me and scold me about it. good question btw.
