We do have staff that work at the Shelter. All opportunities for paid and unpaid positions are viewable on our website... brazosanimalshelter.org

We can definitely look into this request :)

She is at TAMU getting fixed and will be back on Friday (3/25).

We should know by March 22 (could be later). That is when they are supposed to announce whether they are accepting any of the bids. Thanks for keeping up with us, whatever happens we will be at the new shelter off Leonard Road making a difference for the animals of the Brazos Valley.

I would need more information on what "Jack" this was. Please call the shelter for immediate responses on whether animals are available for adoption 979-775-5755. :) Thanks

We don't give out the disposition whether it's adopted, euthanized or transfered regardless of the situation.
-
Unfortunately, in our business, there is always the possibility that the disposition is euthanasia. When someone is told that, there is always an emotional response to finding out that the animal you were interested in adopting or possibly your own lost pet has been put to sleep. The Front Desk personnel, who primarily answer the phones and may have customers standing in front of them, are not in a position to handle that sort of phone call. Over the years, it has been established that if a customer needs a response regarding the disposition of an animal, it is best handled by a management staff, in person.
-
This is a bit of a silly question, but I will still answer you. I can guarantee you that the pets here are very cool/hip/fun and they are anxiously awaiting their forever homes.
-
Yes, we could accept it as a donation. Thank you for thinking of us.

Volunteering is a blast! There are many different things you can do... whether it is for the animals or with the animals.

We cannot recommend one vet over another, you would have to call around. However, if you are wanting a low cost and willing to drive their is one in Brenham called the Connie Clinic. The Connie Clinic is the only low cost clinic in our area.
-
No, but they do have to be present to sign a waiver. They can just come in and sign it, then leave if they don't want to stay for the orientation.
-
We do not do vaccinations for the public. You would have to seek these services from a vet.
