Ask me anything. I'll probably forget this page exists, but if I don't, then I'll answer... just about anything, really

if I could choose anywhere to volunteer, I'd either choose to volunteer at the local park or at a veterinary clinic/shelter.

I'd ask for self-healing like Wolverine has. He can live for hundreds and hundreds of years, and never have to worry about coping with a serious injury.

I could make lots of money, buy myself some land, and plant a forest there. I could watch the forest mature. I could find a way to protect it.

      That's what I'd do.

Who you know, unfortunately. The way our society is set up, you can't get by buy being a 'loner'. Jobs ask for references (friends), your housing depends on how many people you know (room-mates, which are often chosen from friends), and so often where you go in life is determined by who you know (friends higher in a work's hierarchy could give you a nudge along, or friends who go to college could encourage you to do the same).

Myself? I know many things. I know few people.

      I'm going nowhere.

I went to a con, without a costume. A woman (a vendor) approached me and said that I needed a costume. She then pointed out these fuzzy knit hats that she'd made- and was selling for like $15, I think. I forget, maybe it was $25.

I ended up buying a pink one, wasted so much money, and while I was angry and ashamed of it for a long time, nowadays it's become sort of an idiomatic warning to myself.

I watch out for 'pink hats' now, and am wiser for it. ;)

My sister. She's really smart, has a wonderful future ahead of her, and is a great person. She's got a finding ability, too. I lose things like I breathe (constantly and without realising), and she finds them in the same way. We're opposite sides of the same coin, I think.

Nope! I have vague impressions of it, which unfortunately cannot be put into words. I usually don't remember my dreams, though, so this isn't surprising.

I'm assuming this question excludes living things. :p

      1. My knitting needles. I like to be able to look at something I've made, and know that it is good- and that without my existence, it would not have become a thing.

      2. The porch. I like the plants there, and the fact that there are children playing outside sometimes. I can sit there and unwind, and be peaceful, and know that tomorrow it'll be much the same.

      3. My shoes. I need to have something to protect my feet! Without them, I'd probably get frostbite in the winter. How lucky am I to have shoes?

Pretty much.. whatever's on TV. I cbf to put in a cd, and I don't really have any good cds to speak of atm.

I listen to Fettes Brot, but you have no idea who that is.

I would be able to plant a tree and watch it grow into a titan. I wouldn't have to sleep! I'd probably have to leave some times to get blood to eat- but if this is the universe with TruBlood stuff, I'd.. earn enough money to have a 'lifelong' supply of this stuff- and then just sit next to my seedling and never, ever leave.
