when the dog died in i am legend i did tear up i will admit
then again anyone who didn't is a fucking freak -
i have done it, i made postings to my DA journal bro!!!
i'm not sure if i'll continue to do it because seem to be content with being outright dicks to me
by this i mean people think straight up insulting you counts as a critique but i can't really get mad or anything because that'll make me a BUTTHURT LOSER CANT TAKE CRITS HEHH
i might do streams but keep it on the DL; maybe i'll just advertise them on twitter or some shit -
oh geez how to answer this
i grew up drawing a lot of video game inspired shit (not joking); i have a storybook i drew as a kid that was completely inspired by Contra for NES, and i spent the better of 3rd grade drawing mortal kombat characters and Sonic and Knuckles shit
and then middle school happened and fucking toonami started playing goodamn anime and i was hooked
fuckin like dragonball z, tenchi muyo, outlaw star, all that shit influenced my work and this would be a good thing if i had any sense of personal style and wasn't simply trying to copy those styles (very poorly i might add)
i think somewhere around 2003 or so i discovered corey lewis' art on entervoid.com, back when he was active on that site (maybe earlier or later, i forget), and i started really putting emphasis on doing different shit. I loved the variety of his work and really just started trying to break out of anime and all that other stuff. Anime can definitely be an influence, but i had been pretty much using it as a horrible crutch.
Once sharknife dropped i was pretty much dead set on trying to have my own recognizable style, because that shit just rocked my face so hard
over time i made a bunch of fucking amazing friends whose art just fucking punches my face with inspiration and i'm so glad to have them as friends not only because they are amazing people to talk to and share ideas and stories with, but because their work continues to influence the shit out of me
so yeah that -
man i'm all over the place with music; i suppose right now as for what i've most frequently listened to, i'm pretty into the indie/alt scene. I'm pretty enamored with Neko Case and the new Cake release (Showcase of Compassion, get that shit son!), Of Montreal, Arcade Fire and whatnot as well.
I don't really stick to one single genre for very long though, i like listening to pretty much anything -
oh man these questionnnssss i always feel like i sound retarded when i go on about this sorta stuff haha
idkkk i guess i sort of like mousy/shy girls because it counterbalances my retarded boisterousness. I also like girls who arent afraid to talk and whatnot and yeah idk if that makes sense?
a sense of creativity is totes awesome too, i love it when girls do all sorts of creative jazz whether it be music or art or whatever
it helps if theyre into nerdy shit too; comics, games etc but that's moreso because i'd hate for my hobbies to be an incredible fucking bore to a girl versus DHHRURURRR SHE HAS TO PLAY ALL OF MY VIDEO GAMES AND LOOK AT MY KATANA SWORDS
these aren't really KEY THINGS A GIRL NEEDS TO HAVE but i guess they help? idk
i dunno if i really have a single favorite type but any girl willing to put up with my dumb ass is a treasure -

to be honest just experiencing the local scene and whatever you guys do for fun. I've never been big on huge touristy attractions when i visit cities for the first time (they're a plus, but not my main focus). I prefer absorbing the local flavor and just the atmosphere which is always better when shared with bros
