When I'm falling behind on my blog, I tend to read longer books so I can catch up with all my reviews. If it takes me 4 weeks to read that 1000 page book, I should have all my blogging done by then! :)

Akismet says that it's blocked about 7300 spam comments....I wonder if that's right. That's crazy!

I still use Feedburner and even though my numbers say zero, I've still been getting my blog though email and RSS. I REALLY hope the rumors aren't true that feedburner is shutting down. Because if it does I will seriously hate Google forever. Can you trust google with anything now????? I honestly don't know of another RSS/email subscription service besides Feedburner and Wordpress.

I tend to ignore them because if it's really generic there's nothing to really say back to them.

I have gotten one book from them. It was Insignia by S.J. Kincaid. I usually get my e-ARCs through NetGalley, but they are usually pdfs that get emailed to my kindle and it makes the formatting all messed up. The thing I really liked about Edelweiss was that the e-ARC had a native kindle format and the formatting was BEAUTIFUL. No messed up paragraphs and no random symbols...When I get time to request review copies again, I will definitely do it through Edelweiss.

I like youtube videos, but I don't usually have time to watch them. I like the images of the books because it's faster to read.

I am a series purist!! There are people who read series out of order? O.o

I think it's really hard to get the gifs to flow with the text of a review. I've only read very few reviews that could flow seamlessly between the words and the images. Most of the time I look at the pretty flashing images and assume that's all I need to know about the review.

I schedule them for 1 am my time (MST) so they are already up by the time I wake up. I get more hits that way because I think it's morning time for some bloggers that live internationally.

Don't request too many ARCs! It will make your blog a burden faster than you can blink if you have too many books you "have" to read.

Yes. The louder it is, the better you fell afterwards :)

Endlessly by kiersten white! I can't wait to see how the whole series ends :). Luckily I only have to wait a few more weeks.

Yes! I take notes and highlight like crazy on my kindle. It makes writing reviews and finding things so much easier. I would never highlight a real book like that so if I want to take notes and I'm reading a physical book, I write notes on a piece of notebook paper that I fold and store in the back cover.

I'm a movie girl! You have to do a lot of sifting to find well written TV shows. :)

I don't use it. I think it's a way to have follower "numbers" on your site. I think it was trying to replace GFC but I don't see the point of it. Networked Blogs is a little better because it sends people's posts to you on Facebook when you follow them.

Kindle! I love it. I'm old fashioned and have the one with they keyboard and buttons. The clicking drives my husband crazy at night while he's trying to sleep :D Buttons forever

No. I'm terrible at word pronunciation so I just sound things out in my head in a way that will help me get the spelling right. I figure no one else will ever know if I pronounce things atrociously in my head :)

I thought the ending in the book was much better. It had a nice twist. The movie ending just kind of petered off into nothing.

Because of all the deaths (some of which were major characters and favorites of mine) I had no idea if Harry would live in the last book or not. It felt like real life - you never know what could happen. It was an intense feeling to wonder if the main character would actually make it and it's a feeling I haven't had before or since.

It wouldn't affect my review if I'd already read the book, but it would make me not want to pick up their book in the first place.
