I've lately thought that I would, but haven't decided whether this is something that I would actually pay money to get in all the gear, go through training and climb into a plane with people who are committed to shoving me out or if I just like the idea of imagining it'd feel great to fly through the sky up there...

Sing Off... hope I get to watch most, but also don't want it to be deciding factor of my time.

Once I told a Greek class that I felt I could say 'hi' to half the world, but not converse much farther. I realize that was a terrible exaggeration. I know a few words or phrases in German, Yoruba, French, Spanish, Russian and Hebrew, but am only fluent in English.

I probably have seen "It's a Wonderful Life" 10 times - only on TV (for free) and I probably would watch it again if I weren't doing anything else. Two others that I have enjoyed many times are "Sound of Music" and a really old opera that we watched each year as kids, "Amal and the Night Visitors."

I love gardening - even when I'm not successful - just nurturing things and being excited to see growth is so rewarding!

Sometimes I think a date would be fun... then I don't know if it would be worth the trouble. Fortunately, I don't really have to decide.

I was a claims processor at Blue Cross Blue Shield the last few years of college and kept the job when I graduated. When I moved to Washington DC area next I got a job as a bookkeeper (don't you love that word?) at the National School Board Association. I don't think I really needed a degree for that or any subsequent jobs, though it was looked on favorably on my apps.

If it was embarrassing, I don't think I'd post it... though sometimes I surprise myself with spontaneity - and that can be embarrassing.

No... especially if it's more than a week away. I might be able to handle it if it were in 6 days or less.

The last few days I realized that I really love taking my shoes or boots off when I get home and putting on the slippers that Dare gave me for Christmas... So warm and comfy in this Indy cold!

Finally, a simple question! Yes... though not always neatly :~)
-
No... no... are you recommending a change?

If you mean value other than dollars - like time-wise, I think time with God is something that , even though I do schedule it daily, I always think it'd worth it to have a longer time. I think that's true in other people, too - we don't value the time with God enough to invest.

That's easy: March - when I will see you, Ade and the boys again!

All places have pros & cons. I realized it's not a particular place that draws me but people - I want to live close to those I love most - my family. But that's not one place anymore. Today I heard a blog read on the radio - chrisfabry.blogspot.com ("If I Could Live Anywhere") - that pretty much reflects my answer. Did Jesus leave heaven to be in dusty Israel among people who were mean, hurting and confused because that's the place He chose? He came and dwelled here for a purpose. I want to live where God puts me - and move when He moves me - and hopefully fulfill His purpose for me.

Usually one more after I'm full... my bad.
