It's normal to see booking slow down the first 3-4 months of a price increase. Has happened to us every time. And every time, all of a sudden a switch flips and BOOOOOM, flooded with inquiries. :)

We have an 85mm 1.2 and the 1.8... don't think the 1.4 exists. As for the other two, the 85mm 1.2 is one of my faves... but doesn't focus fast in low light. The 85mm 1.8 is a great/less expensive alternative!

Charge what it costs to travel (flight, car, hotel, etc) + your session rate.

Usually just email. Though, sometimes on the phone... and sometimes over Skype. :) It all depends on the brides comfort level.

no mixing.... for my albums, makes it look messy. But, I've seen some photographers do it successfully... I'm not a fan :)

1. You have a urinary tract infection. Get an antibiotic ASAP. You can go to a MinuteClinic at a local Walgreens (if you have one nearby) and a nurse practitioner can prescribe you something.
2. I don't know much about carpet... ;)
