omg it's u person again. If you are actually one of my friends please stop using u. PLEASE. my holidays were fine and I have 11 resolutions for 2011.

If you have a crush on me but are using U by choice, then I do not have a crush on U. And no, I won't go to your spam site.

I am going to assume you are talking about flowers, and the answer is uncut! I would really prefer potted flowers instead of a bouquet because I think bouquet are totally wasteful (when I watch wedding shows the only thing that really annoys me is the expense of all of flowers that are just DYING. ugh.)
Of course, if you were being SCANDALOUS with this question I don't really have an answer (are you wondering if I have a penis? I don't! But I'm Jewish if I did... and if you are wondering if I somehow have a preference, I have never even thought about that. Do people actually have one? I don't know!) -
I was actually thinking about this last night! So aside from the obvious world peace/happiness and health of my friends and family/etc. here are some materialistic and/or unrealistic things I would enjoy:
Inception DVD
An iPad (but not until the new ones come out)
A new iPhone when the next gen comes out
An apartment with an extra room where I could store all my clothes
And endless supply of cute glasses frames
Hotel upgrades in Paris in February (and maybe a driver to take me around the city and an unlimited shopping budget while we're at it)
Enough time to travel a lot this year
A really cool bedframe
A new TV
Unlimited supply of fancy cheeses
And probably some more stuff I am forgetting now. -

My favorite releases of 2010 so far were Animal by Neon Trees, Summer House by Gold Motel and the Matt Morris album.
Can I say I'm looking forward to Panic even though they probably won't come out til next year? I'm not actually looking forward to anything in the fall in particular, which is kind of sad. -
Everything! All of the things! Actually I am not totally sure yet because I haven't sat down and tried to pack things up, and mostly I am concerned that I don't have enough cute things to wear while shopping for other cute things (#privilegedwhien). I am sticking with blacks for my base color, probably a few rompers, my new marc jacobs dress, this darling polka dot dress I bought at h&m, shorts and tank tops because it's going to be hot during the day. Mostly I just hope I can find some really great, out there pieces to bring back and change up my wardrobe.

I thought this was easy but it's actually a hard question. I think I'd say shaved head just because the idea of lugging around dreads all the time would just be exhausting.

Patron is my favorite tequila (although I was being told about some new tequila last night that I will try out). My favorite drink made with tequila is a shot of tequila. ;) But also a tequila sunrise because I can drink that slowly (I prefer made with pinapple juice though, instead of OJ).

I've sat on this question for 2 weeks because I wasn't sure what I wanted to say. Photography (and, to an extent, videography) is a much newer passion of mine. I was definitely a writer and storyteller since I was born, and I've primarily functioned within writing, but I don't want to diminish the love I have for telling a story completely visually. It's definitely newer to me and thus I'm not as good at it, so I have to say writer, but maybe in the future it will be a more even split.

OBVS YOU TAKE THE TACOS AND IGNORE THE DUDE WHO YELLS "HEY THOSE ARE NOT FOR YOU!"
Because whatever, you also have a PureVolume badge and could have been standing in that line, but are you TIRED and COLD. -
When I was 16 I had that suburban girl dream of moving to New York and being an "artist" (I am pretty sure that meant playwright at the time) and living in the Village, etc, basically the plot of RENT without the death and AIDs. And then I grew out of it, and though I would never want to actually live in New York ever, that it seemed dirty and expensive and exhausting (it is all of these things, to be fair).
And then life and more growing up happened and when I was finishing my masters in 2007 I realized that I wasn't motivated to start a PhD in Linguistics at that point (maybe someday). I had been getting more involved in music promotion and my mom looked at me one day over lunch and said "this is what you want to do with your life, isn't it?" She was totally right I just hadn't realized it was an option.
At that point I was afraid I'd never get into the industry without an internship, so I applied for the NYU masters in music business to get some education on how music works and to get a way to qualify for internships. However I got very lucky and an amazing job opportunity fell into my lap at the right time with a label, and I got into the program so I had a fallback plan. So I packed my apartment and booked a flight and a month after accepting my job and school program I was living on air mattress in Williamsburg. Eventually I left the grad program and have been working full time in music for 3 years now.
So that's a really long answer to say I moved to New York because I wanted to work in the heart of music and I felt like New York was a better fit for me 3 years ago than LA would have been, and that's proven to be the case. I can't imagine my life without New York in some capacity and I can't even picture the girl I would be if I hadn't followed this dream. -
I think this question is a trick. I'm supposed to think this is either Sara or Reg asking the question, but you know what -- I think this it is Rob Smy and that's who I like better. Rom Smy! Ha, beat the system. /end AOL-is-cooler-than-you-ness

I really enjoy the "thing" option in this question. It makes me want to just answer "blender," even though that isn't true. (Or is it?) I am trying to think of something, but I don't really have crazy sex dreams. I will admit that I have a huge crush on the historical figure Alexander Hamilton, and if I could invent a time machine I'd go back in time and hit that.

I remember buying a selection of tapes when I was maybe 9? With money from a birthday I think? (Side note: I really could care less about music until I was much older, so most of my music consumption at a young age was weird). Tapes I remember in that haul: Naughty By Nature, Informer by Snow (that was just a single), and Kris Kross (apparently I was way into rap at 9?). For CDs my first memories were Green Day's Dookie and Ace of Base when I was 11 (I was coming into tweendom right at the cusp of the switch from tape to CD so my early stuff was a weird mash).

I sat and thought about this a lot. I think one thing I have been told is I am really great at listening and giving advice. Which I think is a function of the fact that I love to talk, and I'm a big proponent of doing unto others as you wish things will be done to you. I want people to listen to me, so thus I listen to them and try and be actually honest and helpful. So if you need an ear!
One thing I wish I were better at is eating healthy! I am getting much better but sometimes I fail and then want to kick myself. No, you do not need that cupcake. Really. It's not even eating "less" it's just eating healthy, sustainable, good foods. I'm trying though. -
Hahahahah. I do not know how to respond to that. But it's only fair that I do, so ... thanks?

Let's see, about a year and a half ago was Fall 2008, so since then I've been really good. In a lot of ways 2009 was my best year, which makes me feel bad because I know it was a hated year for a lot of friends. I settled into my job, took several trips I'd been wanting to take, celebrated some lovely occasions, made a handful of new and closer friends. So far this start to 2010 has been more of the same. Less bumps than triumphs!
(Of course, Mystery Person, I am totally wondering why I haven't seen you in a year and you think you'll never see me again, since you must still know me! But such is the joy/frustration of formspring.) -
I love this question because it assumes I have a wife? (Do you think I am maybe Shana? We are not actually the same person.) But let's assume I do have a wife (I don't have a wife), I would probably marry my wife, since I would have already done that. Then I'd kill Barbara Walters cause she's pretty old and I feel like she's done many things with her life. And I'd have sex with Oprah because duh, it's Oprah. Basically if you get the chance to have any life experience with Oprah you take it.

This question is super hard!
I wake up well-rested. Surprisingly I'd actually like to go into work for half a day and have meetings where we come up with something brilliant, and then an artist I love (I'll leave it to your imagination who I might choose at any given time) is in the studio and I get to watch the shoot. It's sunny outside but not too hot and I get to go have lunch with a dear friend in the fresh air. My family is in town and I get to take them to see some interesting, only-in-New-York sort of thing in the afternoon. We have dinner at Per Se (just because) with all my friends and the bill is comped. At night we have a big section of a cute bar rented out and there's cheese plates and champagne and sushi and dancing and probably a little karaoke and enough comfortable chairs for everybody to sit in and no one has to shout to be heard. We probably go get San Loco for late night food and we have some hilarious party bus that drives around dropping everyone off with me last. And then I fall asleep in a bed that is comfortable and huge. -
If I had an unlimited budget I would obviously do an around the world trip hitting all the places I want to see in a month! Which would be London, Paris, Italy, Japan, Australia, Vegas and somewhere I would pick by spinning a globe and pointing my finger and going wherever it lands.)
However, if I could just go to one place I would actually take my family and a few friends to these villas in Tuscany that my family has been talking about going to for years, we just haven't had the free time or extra money to make it happen. We'd do what my dad wants to do, which is cook a lot with fresh Italian ingredients, and then what my mom and brother want to do, which is go shopping, and then what I want to do, which is eat at every fancy restaurant I can find.
