At this time I'm going to say no. When I first started the contests it was with the intention of making a photobook at the end, I had to stop temporarily because of time restraints, and since then there's been a lot of talk about whether or not photobooks are appropriate, who copyright belongs to and suchforth.
It's become customary to ask permission from various doll companies to print these photos, and I know for a fact that some of the companies that sculpted some of our past winners will say no. I do not want to have to tell people who won fairly that they are going to have to miss out on being published in the book because of their doll mold. That seems entirely unfair to me.
Therefore I am going to be focusing my energies on the group I am currently running with Dieux-Faux, Cloud and R727, Resin Aperature. My original reason for starting the contests was to promote a sense of community on DA. R-A fulfills that original purpose of those contests long ago, so I don't think I'll go back to the contests. I'm truly sorry for anyone who's disappointed by this news. -
I did the pennysaver route when I was 13. I got paid $15 every two weeks for it. I thought it was the most money I'd ever seen. 8D

Star Trek. STAR TREK. Mostly because I don't like Star Wars at all. There. I came out with it. I find Star Wars to be a little bit boring to be honest. The characters are flat and uninteresting, most of what I find people like about those characters are things they themselves imagined, because it sure as sugar doesn't show up in the movies. When I watch something, even if it's set in space on a foreign planet, I think there should be some sort of human connection or logic to it. Star Trek (TNG Is my favourite) has that. It's not action packed all the time and full of exploding shit, but it's smart, thought provoking and relevent in today's society even if you don't realize it. Why do you think phones flip open? Where did the idea for the IPad REALLY come from? Star Trek is the shiznat. ALWAYS AND FOREVER.
