Sounds like he'll miss some practice but will play against the Chiefs on Monday.
-
I'm sure we'll dissect this during the week.
-
I believe he's been playing hurt. Should be healthy after the bye. Team is still real happy with him, but D-linemen almost never win DROY.
-
He was cut at the end of July. Just before camp started.
-
Sounds like Coop will be a backup and assist Butler and Mouton to pick up the defense even faster. Don't know if he'll play Special Teams, but he used to be a stud there.
-
I'd love to see it, but at this point they probably don't have a spot for him nor the money to sign him to the contract he wants. AJ actually wanted Osi in the Manning trade, but settled on the first-rounder that turned into Merriman. It's not an impossible deal, but very unlikely based on the money he wants and his injury history.

I hate that idea. Number one, he's a locker room cancer everywhere but New England. Number two, he's finished as a player and proved as much last season. Number three, despite the fact that many Chargers fans don't know who a lot of these guys are.....there is no room on this team for another WR unless you want to start cutting guys that were successful last year like Seyi Ajirotutu. Add in the fact that AJ Smith hates players that are distractions, and that Moss would probably be expensive, and it's almost a sure thing to not happen.
-
I haven't heard anything about starting-caliber MLBs available for trade, but they're going to need a 4th guy they're comfortable starting. Keep an eye on roster cuts.
-
Doubt it. He's a high-priced distraction.
-
They didn't trade away Roethlisberger, and won't trade away Hines. I'd say them trading away Harrison is a long-shot, but the Chargers could be a potential landing spot.

30 is not terrible old for Hardwick, whose injuries have been mostly of a "freak" variety and managed to stay healthy after putting on more weight last offseason. I imagine Scott Mruczkowski being signed back to backup here being a high priority, but if not Green would be the only real option behind Hardwick. Green is seen as more of a G/T these days.

Yup. We discussed this during the podcast a couple weeks ago: http://sbn.to/lV1iHq

Just seems that every time someone says "an A.J. Smith-type player" it's a white guy. Gets tiring. The truth is that it's impossible to predict what happens in later rounds, but I wouldn't be surprised if AJ took him if the kid was there at a pick Smith thought he was worth.
-
People always say that, but talent always wins out.
-
Defensive End. He's almost the exact same height/weight as Luis Castillo.
-
I'm a little confused by that. I suppose they don't see him as anything more than a backup ILB, which are not very valuable.

Sanders is a SS. Weddle plays mostly FS. They can, and most likely will, play together.
-
Doubt it. He's been a terrible pro.
