Photoshop. as much as i enjoy the tactile sensation of traditional pen and paper, the power of capabilities of painting using a digital medium far outstrip the warmth of analog methods. i prefer Photoshop for its brush options, which require more meticulous blending for smooth shapes than painter, but i feel that overly smoothed digital art is a set style that is the hallmark of most traditional artists who come from a fine art background. it shows a lack of style, in my opinion, so i like to use hard edges and blends and rough details. my art has been described as "edgy" "urban" and "rough" because of the way i polish things, im ok with all these words.
although it may be detrimental to finding me work as an illustrator. -

destroy the idea of a public figurehead, remove the presidency, and instead allow our represenitives and senate to be the ruling branches of government.

honestly, im for the instatement of a tribunal governed military dictatorship, i may not be the best person to ask about change in the government. -
i could do that. as long as we can sustain ourselves... i mean itd be a great opportunity to experience the world and new places, and to take time to work on my art. i dont know how we'd do as far as surviving though, i mean if we leave american waters theres the threat of pirates, plus i dont really know how well we'd fare on the open sea. So as long as sailing around does mean around the world, it seems reasonable.

they only weigh you down, and make your life harder to cope with. ive done things im not proud of, but i dont waste time regretting what might have happened, i choose to instead face my choices and live with them. we can only live in the present. -

huh... i like my favourite kilt a lot, but if i lost it i wouldn't be too upset. i mean i would try and track it down, but if were between being shot and losing my skirt, i can always get a new skirt. i try not to attach myselves too deeply to material things.

this year ive been really making an effort to improve my artwork. ive spent a lot of time looking at art from people i want to draw like and trying ot analyze the techniques and tools they use, and ive applied for a lot of different art jobs and i think people i interview with and talk to are starting to take me more seriously but ive yet to actually land anything, so i feel really driven to imporve my skills, and to push myself to create more realistic and innovative drawings to try and help me get the career i want.
im tired of being turned down for something i'm clearly good at, so my only solution is to continue getting better. -
well, my pets are all smart enough to escape on their own, this house is insured so any physical possessions will be purchased again once the insurance comes through... i mean yeah ill lose all the files on my computer, so i guess i could grab the portable hard drive i back up too before i make go. all my old sketch books are in the garage, no chance of getting to those in time, but they'll all pretty terrible anyway. i guess thered be nothing left for me to do but.... DANCE.
I would moonwalk out the door, everything physical is overrated.
