I'm not really a resolution person. But, my husband & I did make some goals for the new year - related to fitness, home-organization, organizing our finances, and connecting with others.

Maybe Friday. I get off work early on Fridays (I work long hours the rest of the week). I usually go the gym and have a nap in the afternoon, then Matt comes home and we do something fun.

We leave Austin frequently -- when we travel! :)
That's probably not the answer you are looking for, though. Honestly, we like the Austin area a lot. This is a great place to live when you work in Matt's field, the weather's great, there are tons of fun opportunities, our friends are here, etc.
I could see us moving to a suburb of Austin (Round Rock, Pflugerville, Cedar Park, etc.) but there would have to be a good reason for us to move outside the Austin area. -

Playing with a new format for my (personal) blog (I want to move to wordpress).
Then a nice long nap. -
I might rather sleep late, but I never do, so I've become happy with getting up early. It's a good time to check email, read blogs, and think about what I'd like to do that day. On Saturdays, I will often get up early and run errands. It's a good day if I'm at Target when they open!

Hmmm... good question... I guess it would be The Devil Wears Prada, though I haven't tried it myself.

Ceviche (citrus-marinated "cooked" raw fish). I'm sure the version I had was good, but the texture was all wrong. It was served to us on our honeymoon. I have to admit that I couldn't finish it, but felt ashamed about sending it back uneaten, so I dumped part of it in the ocean. The other fish ate it!

Saccone's on 620 south of Anderson Mill (or their other 2 locations). It's as close as we get to the greatness that is Pepe's in New Haven, CT. Thin, greasy, yummy toppings, and a bit of Jersey attitude (though the employees are actually quite friendly). Nice meatball parm subs, too.

Aren't all times near?*
Not the near future if you mean next week (I'll leave that to a friend who should have her daughter on Tuesday!)
Beyond that? Who knows.
(the actual quote, I believe, is "all times are soon" said by Aslan in the Chronicles of Narnia) -
why not?
No, seriously, I don't consider myself to be a Texan. I hardly even think that I live in Texas. I think of myself only as an Austinite.
I moved here for a few reasons:
--I'd graduated from college. My parents were moving, and I didn't want to live with them, and therefore needed some other place to live.
--I was thinking about grad school.
--I had friends in Austin, and it seemed like a fun city, so why not? -
I don't know about my first name, really. I think my parents thought it sounded nice.
My middle name is the same as my mom's. -
After the snow melts? ;-) Seriously, I'd love to come visit, but not in January!

My husband, of course. :) (and no, I do not mean, in the words of our dear nephew, the "funniest looking!")

Definitely a yacht over a private jet, especially if it came with time & resources to sail to the south pacific!
